Exellent seafood, good service and good wine.

Our first meeting with a restaurant in Portovenere. It's located in the harbour where people are swimming and getting suntanned so maybe this restaurant is better in the evening when there is not so many people in the sea. A seagull wanted our food as well because some people has started to feed... read more

We had lunch here last month and decided on seafood, as you do! My Husband ordered swordfish and I had grilled calamari, both were beautiful, fresh and perfectly cooked. Portions were just right, and price was reasonable. I say the view was nice not just because it's on the water's edge but because of all the Italians sunning themselves on... More

We went here for lunch on a Sunday. The service was just terrible-- we waited to be given menus for thirty minutes, and the waiter walked by our table several times when we tried to get his attention but asked us to wait to order drinks. We ordered two bottles of wine, and only got one. Then we had no... More

Basically, the restaurants around the harbor are all pretty good, though nothing necessarily special. This was like that, but was the only restaurant located on the first floor instead of the ground floor, and thus offered a good and unique perspective view. I had fresh linguini with a good portion of crab with a very nice sauce. Then I had... More

The poor service surely doesn't match the location and atmosphere. The food was good and that redeemed the overall experience that was, yes... Meh. Take that the owner while serving us was telling us the interesting tale about how he is used to sell coffee at 2€ (average price in italy for a normal espresso is 0.80€) to the ones... More

According to Tripadvisor only an average place in Portovenere. We can't follow the logic given that this place not only offers a nice sea view but also friendly and efficient service as well a honest Italian food. My wife does not like the whole fish on her plate ... not a problem it came nicely set up. Prices are in... More

The experience was Great : excellent food (pasta with seafood, antipasti, very very good profiteroles, tiramisu and cocktail. The location is just on the sea. We had a great time in this place.

We had dinner here as a family and couldn't fault the service, the food or the price. We would definitely go back.

We had lunch in this restaurant. Food was ok, but who was paying attention to the food when in the other room the owner was screaming from the top of his lungs at some Russian tourists who didn't want to pay the bill? The scene was quite weird and made is feel uncomfortable, therefore we could not appreciate that well... More

The waiter were very unsure confused regarding which courses they had for the evening. Finally we settled for basic pastacourses. Another (2nd) waiter served us the plates and both me and my wife's courses were not what we ordered, overcooked, wrong sort of pasta and wrong sauces. I asked the 2nd waiter if this really were the right courses. My... More
