Eight of us stayed at the nearby Griffin Resort and came to 'Da Gregorio' for dinner one evening. Davide and Fausto took care of us from start to finish, recommending local dishes and wines and giving us a little local history about the area. The food was all fresh and wonderful. A great evening sitting outside and enjoying a meal.

This family run trattoria is about the only business in Morrano, a small village just outside of Orvieto. Themenu looks traditional but most everything has an original touch. Sardinian flat bread drizzled with Olive oil with curls if zucchini makes for an unusual appertivo. A primo if fried cheese us surprisingly light and delicious. And their wild boar is delicate... Truffles, venison, excellent local wines...tipically warm and fiendly italian welcome for an unforgettable meal or dinner...just a little concern: after two bottles of outstanding white and red wines, I would have strongly desired to fall asleep close the table! Why not to accomplish some bedroom in the second floor?!?

We know this restaurant since more than 30 years abnd it has always been a good place to get traditional Umbrian food, esp. game and game birds in winter time. The owner and his familiy have always been delightful, very caring and helpful. After so many years now the younger generation seems to have a hand in the job and... More

We booked Gregorio's for a birthday celebration, with 30 of us attending. The owner personally attended to us, and accommodated pretty much every request. we chose a few dishes before hand given the large number, but were able to make exceptions on the night. Once started we had a four hour food fest, with one great dish followed by another.... More

From the front door to our departure after the dinner, the personnel was incredible attentive to our needs. I felt like a medieval queen eating there and everything I asked for (I wanted to taste all their pasta and marmalade, I asked to taste their production of alcohol which it wasn't even for sale) they did with great pleasure, smiling...
