We were advised by a friend to visit this Osteria if we visited Orvieto, and so we did. The menu was on a blackboard on the wall, obviously not in Spanish but Angelo kindly printed a Google-translated version (which we still keep as a memento of that meal). Just a Din-A4 front page of typical Umbrian food, delicious and carefully... More

Fresh, delicious food served in a comfortable, inviting atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the antipasto and their fresh pastas. Menu is varied and prices are reasonable. Service is prompt and friendly without being overbearing. Would highly recommend and would definitely return if we're ever in the area again!

Our outdated gourmet guidebook sent us to this address where we found that the restaurant had changed hands and names four years ago. The menu and ethos still looked good, so we booked a table and subsequently enjoyed a good Umbrian meal. Our starter was a huge plate of cherry tomatoes, bresaola cups filled with tasty vegetables, and two big... More

My friends and I came to Italy to celebrate a 60th Birthday with going to Bocelli's Concert. We were in Italy for 18 days and traveled from Pisa, Positano, and Rome. We had fabulous meals everywhere set up by our excellent Tour company. Osteria Numero Uno was an arranged meal and the best of the trip. Angelo was so welcoming,... More

This was recommended by family of one of our party. It was great recommendation. The greeting from Angelo made us feel welcomed and the waitress was great. We all tried a different dish and the food was excellent. We tried all 3 desserts and one of our party even got the recipe for one of them.

Numero Uno was a good find (for which we thank TripAdvisor). The welcome was great and the cooking generous - especially the truffles.

I was arranging a meal for 18 people traveling on a bicycling tour through Tuscany. Angelo worked with me via email to prepare a menu with several options for our group. He was so helpful. The food was fantastic. The service was wonderful. It was the perfect way for us to start our trip in Tuscany. At the end of... More

My family and I went to Osteria numero uno for dinner. The food was delicious, fresh and oringinal, the deserts were wonderful! Service was excellent and price was correct. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

The food here is beyond amazing. The food they serve is high quality, and the way some of it is presented is amazing. I had the zucchini pasta, and it came in an actual zuchini, unreal! We loved eating her, the staff were superb and so welcoming. If you go, try the ricotta rosemary dessert, it's award winning and out... More
