Quaint little restaurant great pasta

Had pasta lunch here. great carbonara large serving very good value. Service is always good here, but it can get very busy so booking is a good idea. My first place to go to for pasta

In Italian, "Mezza Luna" means "half moon" as you know. (or not?) And my title "più o meno" means... more or less! I had a salad (fine) and some pasta for lunch, but it seems a bad choice, a big portion and... heavy. Only for hungry italian workers.

Great food in a tucked away location in the old city area. A bit hard to find, but worth the search. Tasty, well prepared food.

A small family run restaurant. Fabulously simple, wonderfully tasting and reasonably priced Italian food. I wish this was my local, I would be there every week!

Forget it! Just walk on to another restaurant, there are so many in Orvieto. The owner has a permanent frown on his face and just cant wait for you to get out. The food is sub standard and very disappointing. We had pasta al'amatriciana with huge pieces of fat, instead of bacon, and a lack lustre tomato sauce. Then, veal... More

We had a nice family meal there. Really good food, both locals and tourists, warm cozy atmosphere, not too pricey. Plus they were able to get us out of there so we could make our train

We were recommended to go to mezza Luna by our B & B host and we checked as well the comments on Trip advisor site which were most of the time positive specially regarding tha Spagetti Carbonara which is supposed to be the best in the region! What a disappointment! First with atmosphere light with neon in lamps and no... More

We had this place recommended by the Villa we were staying in and was incredibly disappointed to say the least. There were three of us and we each ordered a salad. It was wilted browned lettuce drowned in olive oil and was covered in heavy salt. Two of us ordered the mixed meat dish and it was so salty that... More

We read all the positive reviews of this restaurant and we were looking forward to a great meal. It's as if we were in an alternate reality. The carbonara was dreadful-very heavy and the pancetta in it was extremely salty. We had veal with lemon that was not edible at all. Veal was fatty and drowning in the sauce which... More

The carbonara was recommended by the host at our B&B. Even the menu indicated carbonara was #1 and highlighted in yellow. Plenty of locals eating here too. It was GREAT!
