Staying at the hotel we opted for full board and were glad we did. Most places give you a pared down menu if you are a boarder, but here they urged us to try the specialties, even if it cost them more. During our stay we had their housemade mushroom ravioli, cheese ravioli, linguini, spaghetti, knudel, roasted pork shank (served... More

Father is in the kitchen, mother sells the great food to the assembled clientele and children help in all ways they can. Just a wonderful evening meal from the salad bar to Wiener schnitzel, goulash and knodell - no menu, just what is on that night. Followed by perfect desserts. Their red wine is also to be enjoyed. Good atmosphere.... More

For New Year Eve, Stua Carores was fully booked, but we dined here New Year Day. The restaurant is divided between several rooms. We got a table in the old and very atmospheric building. The waitress was extremely helpful and made our evening a big success. The food was good as well. We hope to be able do dine there... More

Always nice to have lunch or dinner here. Good homemade food, great desserts. For dinner better to book in advance, try the raviolis with mushrooms and the yoghurt as dessert. Ask to be seated in the old Stube for a special atmosphere.

Staying with the family two weeks in one BB hotel in Ortisei in December 2012 we found several good restaurants in the area for family´s dinners. One of them was Stua Catores. It is the restaurant belonging to the guest house. However with an advance booking it was very easy to get a nice and cosy table and it was... More

Outside from the crowded center in high season you find this lovely hotel with a wonderful familiar and friendly atmosphere. Markus and Sigrid, the owners, always do their best to welcome everybody in a most gentle way transmitting a enjoyable homely feeling. It's a beautiful ambient with very pleasant rooms and fantastic local food, especially for dinner when you will... More

I would definetely return to Stua Catores. We went to this restaurant twice and remained very satisfied. The first night we walked from the centre and although very tired we were warmed up by the amazing food. The tortelli were amazing and my husband says the best he has eaten. I loved the tris piatto with canerdeli and different tortelli.... More
