This is a magnificent place for a skiers lunch - right in the middle of the slope. The food is excellent and the service fantastic. The logistics system of this place should be an example for all restaurants of the kind. World class!

You ski down the 11km run to Ortisei and are nearly at the bottom and then you see this cottage on the bend, with a fireplace on the piste roaring, and people sitting outside under blankets drinking hot chocolate, and waiters dressed in carnival attire and you know you have to stop. Best hot chocolate on the mountain and most...

This is fantastic place to eat if you have passed under San Christiana on the train and are skiing above Ortisei. The restaurant is by the ski-slope from the top of Seceda to Ortisei as you pass through the Val d'Anna
Seated outside in the sunshine, you are served in my view the best food on the mountain and seated...

Great food in a cozy atmosphere. You can reach the Cafe´val d'Anna both skiing from the Seceda, but also with a 20 mins walk from the village of Oritisei: take a wooden bridge next to the Seceda cable car station. Highly recommended: eggs with sauteed potatoes and smoked ham, "canaderli" (local dumplings) and of course the cakes!
We had decided to take the cable car up to Seceda but once we arrived at the base station it was out of order, indefinitely! We have been coming here winter and summer for many years and we have net had a bad meal or experience. Today was a lovely sunny day so we sat outside, the service was attentive and friendly, the food great. Best of all the staff where happy for us to linger and soak up the lovely mountain air.
Ok for a stop while skiing or in summer. food was good, and service in line with expectations but nothing was superimpressive!
The location was nice and looks amazing after the dawn in the early evening. The food was great, especially the strudel and hot beverages. The waitresses were very good looking. That might spice up your "hunger" when you stop for a break :)
Almost at the end of the Seceda downhill run in Val Gardena, this caffe is more a small restaurant with excellent food. Fresh and tasty. Just what you need after a day on the slopes.
I eat at Caffe Val d'Anna at least twice in every ski week that i have in Sellaronda for the last 4 years. The food is amazing, especially the Gulasz Zuppe and the Salsicia Mit Polenta which is always order.
The crew are extremely friendly, the prices are reasonable and you get good value for your money, and if you...
