BALCONY OVER TOSCANA

We did not eat anything here, just drank some wine and watched Toscana view. It can be visited only to sit in that lovely balcony and rest for a while. It is a lifetime experience.

I cannot believe how good value this place is. It's a great Art Decco place with great balconies looking over the valley. €3.80 for two Cappuccino and a brioche!! Brilliant

We stopped here yesterday for coffee, as we do whenever we are in Montepulciano. It has a wonderful interior that transports you back in time to before the Second World War a glamorous picture of a world on the brink of tragedy. We sat near one of the Art Nouveau windows through which a perfect Tuscan landscape is seen. We... More

You are transported to the turn of the twentieth century once you enter this place. Only tried the pastries and coffee, which were top-rate. I understand they also do lunch & dinner. Will be back! Ask for a terrace / balcony table...the view is amazing!

Great service. Authentic Italian cuisine and the setting is just amazing. This place has been in Montepulciano for so long and it is great fun walking here from our hotel.

We stopped here for the view. Our waiter was kind enough to let us wait for the corner terrace table that had a great view. He even ran off a woman who scooted in and sat at it before it was even cleared from the previous diners. (And no she was not an American). Service was fine, just my chicken... More

We decided to give this cafe a chance after buying some art from a painter who suggested it as an expensive place to eat but worth every Euro. We are from the Seattle area and are very used to expensive meals.....this is not expensive but it is delicious. Our waiter was very tuned into our needs around allergies. The house... More

I had high hopes for Cafe Poliziano, but the service is sub-standard and I stood at the counter waited to be seated more than once waiting for a seat without anyone bothering and on both occasions left without service. I ate there a couple of times and the food is good if you've got time to wait and hope for... More

I wandered into this cafe in June some years ago and had a salad and coffee on the gorgeous terrace with those incredible views! I also was very impressed by the cafe inside. I was back in Montepulciano a few weeks ago with friends and despite reading the recent poor reviews wanted to show them this beautiful place! We were... More
