Great torta della nonna...

We had breakfast twice at the Caffe Poliziano. Be sure to check out the amazing view from the balcony at the far end of the caffe! Cappuccini were great, and the torta della gonna (shortcrust tart filled with pine nutty vanilla filling) was amazing...get there early! The service was pretty... read more

If you're a fan of the elegant cafe experience, in elegant surroundings set in Art Nouveau decor, then Caffe Poliziano is a place you'll love right away. No less a judge than Federico Fellini pronounced this establishment as "being worthy of any Central European City" and I could see why as I sat back in comfort and enjoyed my coffee... More

This is a fabulous place, halfway up the corso this Art Deco restaurant / cafe is superb. Top class food and very reasonably priced coffee. If you can manage to snap a table on the balcony you will get a stunning view over the Val D Chiana

Was the only coffee shop open in the whole Montepulciano. For 2 italian espresso coffe served at the table we paid 4,40€, when the average for an espresso in Italy is 1€. The place is nice but I don't know if deserve to be so expensive.

Apparently it is just a very nice and old cafè in the center, where to have a standing coffee or a sweet. But if you turn your head you will see a great cafè where it is impossible not to seat to rest and enjoy a cup of something. The tables in the back have a beautiful view, thanks to... More

The atmosphere is fantastic, cozy in the cold winter weather. The place was not crowded at all, but yet, it took ages to serve us. The cakes we ordered came first, they were warm at the time. When our tea (not made in properly boiling water, so it never brewed correctly) and luekwarm coffee finally arrived after a veeeeery long... More

We spent 14 days in Tuscany and here was were we drink our best coffee. The place is nice, waiters are very friendly and polite. There is a balcony at the end of Caffe with great view on surrounding area where you can sit and enjoy your coffee. We were so satisfied that once we just came to Montepulciano to... More

Wonderful atmosphere in this old world cafe with the accompanying coffee and italian treats to begin your day. The rear balcony overlooking the rolling hills of Tuscany had me feeling like a barron sipping his espresso as he overlooks his medieval fiefdom.

I think this place has the best terrace for drinks and the view. Absolutely fantastic view. Will go here again when in town.
