Go here for the view!

I did not think the food was outstanding, but they have a very sweet little balcony with a great view of the valley below. Tis is a very nice place for your morning coffee and pastry.

Beautiful cafe with wonderful panoramic views of the Tuscan hills. We enjoying coffee and exceptionally good pastries sitting on the terrace soaking in the atmosphere. Highly recommend if visiting montepulciano

We walked in and the seating and view was not to be compared to any restaurant in town. Then the meal was served. Tuscan steak that was ordered medium and sliced came out raw and not sliced. The lasagna was tasteless and skimpy. The pasta was cold. The grilled vegetables were a few slices and poorly presented and tasteless. If... More

Amazing view no doubt!! Entrees great, but leave the decoration!! Simple is so much better!! Mains very disappointing: Too much paprika for decoration - leave it off!! Use good frozen porcini if you are going to see it at all. The Carbonara was ok but had been sitting a while for service as the egg had coagulated. Service was good,... More

Ate here several times for the sheer fact that there aren't many place open in the morning serving food in Montepulciano (so they get a little extra credit for that). The view is breath-taking and a great spot to enjoy a morning cappuccino. The food was meh, and some of the desserts were hit and miss. A bit overrated. Better... More

we went here during a very hot day in Montepulciano just for a beer and coffee and to see this great place with a very nice panoramic view. The waiter was a real pro. Kind, polite, very italian. the place is very nice and real worth the visit. Whenever you visit Montepulciano, don't forget to enter for a coffee, a... More

Try to sit on the little balcony overlooking Trasimeno! A delightful restaurant with excellent food, quality service and very helpful waiters. We love this place!

Food was OK but what was amazing was the view from the terrace - absolutely amazing and worth a visit for that alone. Next time I think I would go for coffee and cake, rather than dinner.

We came to visit the "famous" Cafe Poliziano and decided to have lunch. The pasta (Tagliatelli with rocket pesto) was without salt and the meat (Tagliata) was really cold. The only good thing was the view, but don't worth it.

We arrived in the evening without having booked. The terrace was busy however the waiter reserved us a table and let us wander off while we waited. We then returned to the bar upstairs for a pre dinner drink and when the table became free, he called up for us. He remembered my name and addressed me by it all... More
