We had a great, fun/ festive meal on a Sunday night here. This restaurant had 2 dinner seatings - early (about 6:30 pm) and then late (about 8:30 pm). We opted for the early seating. Patrons are seated at long tables with 6-8 persons at each one. One important thing to know: they will give you one and only one... More

This place has a big reputation and lots of hype and accolades, but all of the attention is well deserved. This is a truly great dining experience. It was so good we went twice during our three days in the Montepulciano area. Although its signature dish is the steak florentine, the restaurant has an extensive menu. The prices are very... More

I ate a ton of good food in Montepulciano, but this place was also an experience. You will share a table with other people. I ended up sitting next to someone who lives one town over from where a I grew up, thousands of miles away. Crazy!

This was our last meal in Southern Tuscany and we could not have been more pleased! The food was perfect simple Tuscan fare done as it should be. Giulio's pride in his work, great product and personal attention to each patron were evident and made the experience memorable. The family style seating adds a bit of adventure to the meal--we... Family style seating brings diners together who begin as strangers and leave as friends. Our table mate happened to be a local hotel manager and he took charge for us when it came to ordering our meal. Funghi laden pasta followed by a huge steak (fit for all of us to share) cooked to perfection. My new quest is to... More

We found the food to be average to good. We don't eat meat and perhaps meat eaters are more positive as this restaurant focuses on meat. Otherwise we liked the concept and enjoyed sharing table with other guests.

This was a very friendly fun filled dinning experience in Montepuliano, Italy. The service was great and the food was some of the best Italian food we experienced while traveling in Italy.

Great atmosphere! Sharing a table with other customers and share opinions about your meal is what Osteria is all about! One of the best pieces of steak I have ever had in my life! Just right ! Didn't try the pasta but I'm glad I filled my belly with that awesome 1.6kg of Chianina meat! Recommended!

Great food, be prepared to sit with other patrons. The restaurant is small and they serve dinner by seating. Everyone's at one long table but the food is great and it give you the flavor of a small local restaurant. The steak Florentine is wonderful as well as the pastas.

Had lunch here on a Wednesday. The restaurant is long and narrow with shared tables. The place was busy but a server quickly made room for us. They have high chairs for kids. The steak is cut to order and generally large. Seasoned and cooked well. The owner was there with a ponytail and hip hugger jeans. Very engaging. They... More
