Superb product

Went ther recommended by our host in our airbnb home in tuscany. First day already fully booked and impossible for lunch but tried again because the place seemed to us that could be a good one. And it was, we ordered too many courses, many food but at the end only the bones and not many more... La... read more

A fabulous little osteria; very authentic Tuscan food with great hospitality. You are advised to book as it gets very busy with locals, Italian visitors and other tourists. The food is delicious, we had Tuscan meats for starters and then pasta from the day's menu (hand written on a sheet of sugar paper). Other customers were tucking into good quality... More

Very unique yet enjoyable experience. The environment was hectic at times but that added to the atmosphere. The steak was unbelievable, both in taste and size!!

Everything at this restaurant taste great. This is not a relaxing romantic Italian restaurant. It is great food, seat together with people you don't know, have a lot of fun and did I mention great food? Ask for the italian menu not English. if you don't understand, it's OK just order of of it everything's great. Have fun, we had... More

Came here in 2011 and could not wait to get back. Had reservations for eight of us, two nights in early June. First night we went traditional and had steak. It was as good as we remembered. Came back the next night and had steak again, but sampled more of the appetizers and pastas as well. Equally good. The only... More

After a relatively disappointing experience in Florence for their bistecca, we were pointed to Osteria Acquacheta by our hosts in our agriturismo - and how right they were. This place was cozy and popular, and we sat close to a traveling duo from Barcelona who chatted in broken Spanish-English with us while we sipped on some of the best house... More

The steak is delicious and the pleasant environment, with long tables, adds to the experience. You have to seat side by side with other people and this is a wonderful opportunity to connect to friendly people.

The beef, the people, the wine - everything here is great! Great local vibe with family-style seating, friendly and engaging owner-chef and serving staff. Make sure to get a reservation!! Nothing pretentious here. Good local wine, veggies, and the best beef we've had in a very long time. Had some great conversations with others sharing our table, mostly locals eager... More

I would not recommended this place to families with kids (too hot and tiny) or travelers looking for a relaxing dining experience (too noisy and messy and rushed). It is ok for groups of young travelers who might find the eccentric owner entertaining (a funny story to tell). ------- LOGISTICS Super-tiny and hence very (too) crowded. Very uncomfortable seating. Literally... More

My god, go to this Osteria! The atmosphere is awesome, the staff are extremely polite, helpful and fun. The owner oozes charisma and most importantly, the food is to die for! It was that good on the first visit there that we booked for the following night - I suffered massive food envy when the American couple sat at our... More
