We ate here because it was close to a venue for a concert that we were going to. This restaurant is in a great position for passing customers - next to the Puncinella bell tower and church - on the walk up from the bottom of town. However the food is not the greatest quality (I think we must have... More

Passed by this place on a number of occasions and noted what appeared to be a great regional menu. Was particularly looking forward to the wild boar casserole and my wife was looking forward to her first Italian pizza this trip. Greeted by a waitress who just didn't care, wouldn't give any assistance with the menu and forgot our drinks... More

We ordered the antipasti mix for 2 and got a huge and delicious plate! The chicken Etruscan style was very nice and also the pizza was amongst the best I are recently in Italy!

We got caught by the rain, so we run into this restaurant and decided to have a lunch. And only due to the rain we stayed, beacuse normally I'd left after the first contact with the waitress. The girl was in a very bad mood, not nice at all! Yet, we made an order and had some wine. Wine was... More

We had dinner here on our last nite in Montepulciano. It is a family run place with a nice atmosphere. The food is quite simple but tasty. Our only observation though was it looked like the waitress was run of her feet. She was great but looked like she could have done with some help.

We dined outside on two occasions, very friendly server - same one both times. She helped us with our Italian language skills. We went out of our way to return the second time to enjoy their carbonara. Right outside the clock tower - great place for people watching. Good place to stop for lunch on your way up the hill... After walking around Montepulciano we needed pizza. But this was very disappointing. Staff not friendly or helpful. Food shoved in front of you. Pizza toppings sparce. Wine poor. All in all avoid if possible.

Frankly we just needed feeding and it was late with the kids so settled here. When your 5 and 8 yr old both say a pizza is average you know the foods not good ! Service totally devoid of any friendliness( v unlike most places in Umbria) food not good but at least it's cheap! Whole operation feels v complacent.... More
