We had to sit outside (cold) as this restaurant is popular. Once you get your meal you know why. We stayed 10 days in Montepulciano and ate here 3 times.

The meal was stellar. Unexpectedly fabulous meal at reasonable prices. Cristiana was lovely both meals we are there (lunch and dinner on the same day!), smiling and helpful throughout the experiences. I would highly recommend La Pentolaccia to anyone visiting Montepulciano.

We came for lunch and were pleased to sit inside on a chilly day. The courgette with truffle and pecorino starter is note able and the gnocchetti light and lovely. Hubby ate the pici with wild boar sauce and pronounced it 'good' Finished with tiramisu and a half bottle of montepulciano vini nobile-lots of locals eating here and some singles... More

The best meal at a really great price with the best service ever, a super woman attending all the tables with a super smile on her face. Ask her for her tips and have a wonderful local gastronomic experience!

It's a one woman show - the owner (?), a very friendly lady with a beautiful smile - runs nonstop, taking orders, bringing the drinks, cutlery, food, cleaning the tables. She has time for every customer and offers good suggestion for the wines, which are as you are in Tuscany, splendid. Two three guys and girls run the kitchen producing... More

Located on the Corso, this family-run restaurant features seafood, but also has a broad menu of regional specialties. The chef prides himself on the quality of his food, its preparation and presentation. A few outside picnic-style seats. Colorful decor inside. A favorite spot for locals and visitors alike. Well worth a visit for lunch or dinner.

I had dinner at La Pentolaccia while traveling with my sister, who has been attending a language school in Montepulciano. La Pentolaccia is known to everyone who goes to school there and everyone gives it two thumbs up. The outside seating is very popular because the restaurant is on the main street/hill through town and people watching is at a... More

Ate here before a concert in the Plaza Grande. We were going to eat in the restaurant next door, but it was full - I'm glad it was - La Pentolaccia was excellent, with lovely food with service to match.

We went here for dinner on the recommendation from for hotel. The food was quite good, we started with the gnocchi with arugula and the pasta with white truffles. Both were excellent. I had the wild boar cacciatore as a second. It was spicer than I expected, but good none the less. We had deserts of puff pastry with ice... More
