Why would anyone choose not to eat in this lovely restaurant

We ate here three times - every meal was exceptional - many traditional Italian dishes, beautifully cooked and presented, and some more unusual ones. We absolutely loved La Pentolaccia. We were in Montepulciano for 3 nights and ate here twice. We sat outside (make a reservation to make sure you have a table as the place is rather small) and enjoyed several antipasti dishes, bruschetta, fresh Caprese salad, and pecorino salad with apple and bacon and their best was the special with zucchini, pecorino... We had our agriturismo host make a reservation for La Pentolaccia on our last night in Montepulciano. Had lots of food and wine and was very reasonable price.

Our driver who was from Montepulciano recommended La Pentolaccia. After making reservations (advised) , we were treated like family. The chef does a great job in presenting the dishes. The food was fantastic, and it was an incredible value for what we ate and drank. I would have coume back again if it wasn't our last night there.

I am fussy about fish being prepared just right, and so was disappointed in the overcooked and tasteless salmon. It was recommended to me by a local, so could have been just a bad night. I like the owners and the effort they put in to making the dishes special, just didn't like the fish.

We discovered this restaurant casually. It's small only 10 tables. We eated pici all'aglione and with anatra ragù. Pasta Fillo with gorgonzola and pere. And a tiramisù. Quick and good service. Recommended.

Very small - holds about 20 people and specializes in fish. We waited 3 days to get a spot and the food was delicious.

Roberto, owner of La Terrazza di Montepulciano, recommended this place for our pranzo in Montepulciano and we were not disappointed. Inventive and delicious food served with pride and pleasure by the staff. Would love to eat here again sometime.

We returned to Montepulciano because of our fantastic experiences last year and were not disappointed, there are so many outstanding places to eat. We returned to la Pentolaccia for its charm, outstanding service, incredible value for money, but most of all for the way they cook fish. Not always easy to find in this area but an outstanding alternative to... More
