This place was the worst place we ate. The food was sub par and the service terrible.. Would not recommend it when there are so many better ones in the area. Our servicer was not very nice and really did not seem to want to be bothered. He was young and very easy on the eyes but that was it.... More

We had a delicious lunch here. House wine, lovely salad, Rabbit and Beef Stew with the chocolate coconut cake for dessert. Everything was tasty! The wait staff was attentive and helpful with the Itialian menu. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Looked like many locals eat here which is a very good sign.

We put ourselves in Andrea's hands and asked him to serve us a tasting menu. The 6 course meal was absolutely amazing as was the wine that went with it. I highly recommend La Briciola and Andrea's amazing wine pairing. Andrea and his father are amazing hosts and this is one of the best dinners you will have!

We had lunch here and received excellent attentive service from a friendly waiter. The food was tasty and we were recommended a wine other than one from Montepulciano which made a change. There appeared to be locals eating there - always a good sign!

We had delicious dinner and enjoyed friendly chat with Andrea, the owner of La Briciola. Try Fiorentina Biefstuk and house wine. Thanks again!

We ate there tonight. Got pici with ragout, ribollita, and ordered fiorentina steak. Waiter said, that it will be one kilo- costs of 40 euro. When he came with steak, could anybody see, that it wasnt 1 kilo! Such a disappointment. And another joke- roastet potatoes ( sidedish) was from freedge!

In the past 12 years I've bene often in Montepulciano for work but I never ate here before .... I totally regret it! The atmosphere is very nice inside, the restaurant is located in a little side street along the main trail. Being the last day of the year for lunch I decided to have only one course, fantastic tagliata... More

We had a wonderful meal at La Bricola. As previous posts have said the menu is only in Italian but we loved the experience of working out what to have. We had wonderful pasta with amazing sauces. Don't miss dessert, and go with your waiters recommendations. They also have an extensive wine list showcasing Montepulciano wine, even people who don't... More

We were in four and all of us had something different as main course and finished off with Panna-Cotta made i two different ways. The PICI, local Pasta(hand-rolled spaghetti is very good. The meat which is also from the local valley(Val di Chiana) also very good. The wine was very good. No wonder Montepulciano is a wine growing community. All... More

We went to this restaurant for lunch when first entering Montepulciano. This is a truly authentic Italian restaurant, with homemade pasta made to order. The pici with ragu was unbelievable and worth going for! The menu is all Italian and not geared at tourists, however the service is amazing and willing to help with the translation. Worth the visit if... More
