Great pici!

Went for lunch with a friend who dines here often. We each had a version of the local pasta, pici. It was prepared perfectly, the wine was great and the service impeccable. The dining room is beautiful and serene. I would highly recommend!

We were disappointed with service. It took us some time to get served even though we had made reservations and were there for an early meal (so it wasn't too busy). The food was good but not outstanding. My daughter and I had the Pici, a local pasta dish and my husband had the risotto and sausage which he really... More

We ordered antipasti for 2 at €22 expecting a feast of meats, cheeses but most items were bread, with grilled cheese, with mushy chicken livers(not pate texture) , with dried out pancetta. 2 chutmeys and the local soaked bread dish with tomato, garlic etc except it was totally tasteless. 6 small pieces of cheese, no olives. We then shared mushroom... More

This is a wonderful small restaurant in a side alley off the main gate at the very lower end of the Corso. It is cozy and quiet, with excellent service and food. We went without a reservation, fairly early in the evening by Italian standards, but you might need a reservation later. Portions were large and could be shared if... More

Very nice place. Cool terrace. Excellent service. Best cacio et Pepe in Paris. Wine portions a tad too small but not enough for me to knock a star off.

We ate at La Bricola on the recommendation of the owner of the hotel we were staying in and we were not disappointed. Really good local fare and a strong local wine list which the owner and his son patiently took us through. I had a sumptuous peci dish with a pepper and cheese sauce - quite unique and delicious.

If you visit Montepulciano, through the fortress main gate on the right, down the narrow street is La Briciola. It is run by a father and son who make you feel like an old friends when you are seated. The menu choices are varied and true Tuscan flavours. The pasta with porcini mushrooms is mouth watering. Be sure to try... More

Had excellent service and a great meal. our waiter (owners son) spent time explaining the wine and the region to us. We where so impressed with him that we asked him to choose our wine and an entire Florentine Bistecca meal for us. It was the best meal of our four week trip.

We visited here with a group of 10, and were pleased to sit outside in the walk way. After meeting Andrea (the owners son), we thought he was charming at first. As he was ready to serve us, many tasteless jokes gave us a bad taste. He jokingly told us Italians hate two things...ugly rabbits, bc they shoot them...and tourists.... More
