Nine of us visited this restaurant on one of our last nights in Italy. We ordered a lot of food to be shared with the table and they were very accommodating (they even gave us an extra salad on the house). We loved that the wine list were the shelves surrounding our table. We got excellent recommendations on both wine... More

Stopped off for a drink as we were wandering through the streets, lovely outside table. We sat drinking a good white wine ( Schiopetto Pino Grigio 2012, great value too) which was recommended by the waiter. Sadly the food was poor, so only 3 stars.

This is a combination cafe, wine bar, wine store. We initially were drawn into the store looking at local wines. We ended up doing a wine tasting and staying for lunch. Food was very good although not cheap., However, the facility was immaculate, the kitchen and restrooms spotless. The owner was very charming and went out of his way to... More

This is a beautiful restaurant. One of the best views in town. And it's decorated magnificently. We stopped here for a light lunch one day....I had their local ribolletta (?) soup, my hisband had their cheese and sausage breads. Very under whelmed. And pricey! My husband came back several mornings in a row for coffees and sweet rolls. That was... More

Though this place seems to mainly a wine shop, it can truly be considered as an hidden gem for food too! Cristian the owner is a wine savvy person. Go for lunch, and stop to buy some wine after.

La Dolce Vita was my favorite place to eat lunch while at Il Sasso for two weeks. This is possibly a school tradition, as I was introduced to it by classmates who had been there before me, and I in turn introduced it to others. The menus are imaginative and filled with authentic Tuscan dishes, and the wines offered by... More

Montepulciano was the last place in the world we thought we would be eating hamburgers but they were absolutely delicious. Thoughtful combinations such as one using porcini mushrooms were delicious. Just a word of warning they come rare! Just what we wanted after a long day of travelling. Service was pretty good. We went back the next day to do... More
