Great Food in a Wine Store

In Montepulcianio, there is a wine store every 50 meters, but our guide told us about this place as a suggestion for lunch. Great Bruschetta at a good price...and a fantastic wine selection/tasting. Definitely in the tourist area, but is well worth a visit if you are traveling up the hill to Duomo.

Great wine selection, very knowledgeable staff and owner! Christian, the owner was a sommelier and so was our waitress, very helpful. The food was also amazing. You might get tired of panini's so have a great local beef burger, salad and soup, all were excellent. They also have lasagna and other typical fare.

Christian never disappoints...a great lunch--the BEST steak carpaccio EVER. a beautiful wine cellar stocked with some of Italy's finest wines---and they ship all over the world. It doesnt get any better than this. My 3rd visit and I will return for more.

This charming little wine bar and restaurant had so much promise - sadly hopes were dashed for literally EVERY customer at La Dolce Vita during our visit. Our group of four specifically asked if they served food and assured they did, we were shown a table. The wine selection was impressive and we were served our selection fairly quickly. The... More

This is my third time in this restaurant. They have a wide selection of wines and the food is simple and tasty!

We came here on a recommendation and were not disappointed. Cristian is amazing in his knowledge of wine. We shipped home 2 cases of wine that Cristian personally picked to highlight the regions best examples. He explained each and every choice and even rated them as 5*, 4*, and ones for everyday. They were all very different price points which... More

We weren't planning on eating here but couldn't find the restaurant we wanted to go to...and that was fine because the food here was amazing. We ordered a bunch of different bruschetta (which they had over a dozen kinds). We also ordered meats and cheeses.. Your typical Italian antipasti...which you can order almost anywhere in Italy, but the quality and... More

We strolled in on a late afternoon to have a glass of wine. But after trying some of the crostinas, we decided to stay longer! Their cellar-like atmosphere is really cosy and the staff is really friendly. The only thing that we did not like is the cover charge surprise on the bill. We looked for it on the menu... More

What is very helpful is that they serve light menu all day! So of you are hungry and miss the restaurant you can have a nice snack with some good wine. Great wine selection, beautifil decor, good service.

This was one of the most beautiful wine bars/restaurants we have been in. Did not have dinner, but had a fabulous wine tasting experience. Ask for Cristian! He was very informative and helpful.
