Great Food in a Wine Store

In Montepulcianio, there is a wine store every 50 meters, but our guide told us about this place as a suggestion for lunch. Great Bruschetta at a good price...and a fantastic wine selection/tasting. Definitely in the tourist area, but is well worth a visit if you are traveling up the hill to Duomo.

This is my third time in this restaurant. They have a wide selection of wines and the food is simple and tasty!

We came here on a recommendation and were not disappointed. Cristian is amazing in his knowledge of wine. We shipped home 2 cases of wine that Cristian personally picked to highlight the regions best examples. He explained each and every choice and even rated them as 5*, 4*, and ones for everyday. They were all very different price points which... More

We weren't planning on eating here but couldn't find the restaurant we wanted to go to...and that was fine because the food here was amazing. We ordered a bunch of different bruschetta (which they had over a dozen kinds). We also ordered meats and cheeses.. Your typical Italian antipasti...which you can order almost anywhere in Italy, but the quality and... More

We strolled in on a late afternoon to have a glass of wine. But after trying some of the crostinas, we decided to stay longer! Their cellar-like atmosphere is really cosy and the staff is really friendly. The only thing that we did not like is the cover charge surprise on the bill. We looked for it on the menu... More

What is very helpful is that they serve light menu all day! So of you are hungry and miss the restaurant you can have a nice snack with some good wine. Great wine selection, beautifil decor, good service.

This was one of the most beautiful wine bars/restaurants we have been in. Did not have dinner, but had a fabulous wine tasting experience. Ask for Cristian! He was very informative and helpful.

Well trying to find somewhere decent to eat on NYE in Montepulciano without a reservation was like rocking horse poop, extremely rare. Luckily Christian took pity on us and found us a place to the side. The bubbly was great and perfectly matched the atmosphere and it was soon obvious why the place was fully booked. I opted for a... By far the most wanted place to go, when we're in Montepulciano. Everytime we come here, we must visit Christian, 'cos of the fabulous wines and amazing tasting dishes they serve from their kitchen. If you're a fan of Italian wines, make sure you go and visit Christian. He can tell you everything about every single bottle that is in... More

I went to this place in a rainy afternoon. The decor and ambience are just nice. We ordered a lasagna (8 Euros). I saw the guy taking ready-to-eat lasagnas from the cabinet and putting them on the oven (microwave, I presumed). This was far from what I expected from a restaurant in that region.
