Description: Montepulciano is a magic city which offers its visitors unforgettable...
Montepulciano is a magic city which offers its visitors unforgettable memories. A steep, winding road will lead you to a medieval hill town with a wonderful view over the surrounding valley. L’Osteria del Conte is situated in one of the town centre’s main streets, near the renowned Sanctuary of San Biagio and ontepulciano’s Fortress. After several years of experience in enogastronomy and catering, Lorena together with her son, Paolo, decided to open this cosy little restaurant in Montepulciano, where you will have the possibility of tasting the genuine, delicious dishes offered by the Sienese cuisine.

Good meal

We enjoyed our meal, and the service is good. I wish that we could have eaten outside. The food was good, but I am not sure it was outstanding.

Good overall but my beef was tough and very rare. Apps etc good. Service was good And it soon filled up on opening. Maybe I just chose the wrong dish.

food was good and the service was top notch, the old lady who cooks up the food actually walks around the restaurant and enquires whether you are content with your meal, which was quite sweet.

Went with friends from town and had a lovely meal. The outside seating area is protected from the wind and was perfect for a May night! Food is delish, home made by the lady owner. Highly recommend!

The food was wonderful, the service friendly and we had a great experience. We arrived quite late and the restaurant was full so they gave us a glass of prosecco at a table outside and were able to seat us quite quickly. Really good value and a lovely welcome to Montepulciano. We'll be back!

I read the compentaries and I wander...this small lovely restaurant run by a family is charming, but not good food. Steak florentine was uneatble and pasta was overcooked and tasteless. I really do not like to make this kind of comentaries but I do not like people get fooled. Restaurant was full of tourists, none one of them was happy... More

Thoroughly enjoyed this meal. My wife and I shared a number of dishes and a bottle of wine...all were delicious. Family run establishment and more of a local venue, we found this on recommendation from one of the wine shop owners in town. We are passing on the love. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner.

This lovely little restaurant was only a few steps away from the Hotel Albergo Duomo where we were staying, so very handy after a long day's exploring. The staff were lovely & the food was amazing (especially the desserts!), & reasonably priced.

We loved this restaurant. So much so that after eating there several times we had to tell ourselves to try something else. The service, the ambiance and the authentic Italian selections kept us fat and happy during our week in Montepulciano.

Very convenient for our hotel Albergo Duomo. Friendly and attentive service and good value food in a cosy dining room . To be honest after a visit to the Nobile festival and the "snack" lunch we had there, we weren't terribly hungry to do justice to a full dinner in the evening - but the antipasti and primi we had...
