This restaurant was a big dissapointment for me. Service OK, but food better looks then tastes. A bit snobbish, not my cup of tea. La Grotta is also luxury and expensive, but you enjoy time there much more better then here. For me nothing special.

If the town of Montepulciano doesn't take your breath away, a meal here should do the trick. The town is spectacular. You can't go 10 steps without someone offering you wine to taste or meats and cheeses to sample. The service here was excellent. We were lucky enough to sit at a table overlooking the street and flowers that dot... More

This review is a bit unusual, for while staying at the Villa Ortaglia, we two couples enjoyed a two hour cooking lesson with Massimo and his chef, Fredrico, in the art of making excellent pasta. While you might think that extremely basic, we picked up a lot of fine points while enjoying the conversation and teaching from both instructors. This... More

A little overpriced, but what to expext from a touristtown as Montepulciano. Innovative kitchen with interesting combinations. But it is not spot on. The rissoto was undercooked. The lamb (made sous-vide) was uninteresting (partly because of the cooking methode which is not one of my favorites). The chocolate souffle lacked the souffle-part. The wine was fairly priced and decanted properly.... More

We were after two weeks in Italy, tired of typical Italian and Le Logge offered excellent mix of Traditional Italian and some modern approach. the food was excellent! The must have is tagliata di manzo with truffle sose. Do not skip dolci. Their tiramisu is the best in the world!!!

Just because the fish is "fresh water" doesn't mean it should taste awful and be poorly cooked. I honestly thought it was a piece of salted, preserved fish, but was told by our server that it was "fresh". Terrible. Absolutely horrid. Dry, smoked fish texture and an off-putting, fishy in a bad way, taste. Having, post mortem, looked at other... More

I'm sorry you have not liked our fish course and I'm sorry to hear you so angry about a dish that was not up to your expectations even if your starters and the main course of your husband were very good as mentioned by yourself, I apologized and he has not paid into the account. I want to clarify that... More

This is quite an intimate restaurant, with a high standard of food and excellent service. The waiters and sommeliers were very knowledgable and friendly. We had a table near the window and it was lovely. The food was very interesting, our meal was delicious with one exception. I felt the onion soup and sausage was just too rich for me... More

So, how does a restaurant gets a no. 1 billing when there was not one course of food that was remotely tasty? What are people's expectations in terms of quality and execution of dishes? I have no idea!! We did not enjoy our dinner at Le Logge del Vignola, not at all. The food was totally unacceptable. The dough of... More

Had the chance to eat a late dinner there in the beginning of June. The food was spectacular. We had toured all day and tasted wine and food all over the region so we ordered a number of anti pastas and pastas. Each was excellent as was the wine and the staff. I only wished we had time for the... More

We were recommended to go to this restaurant , so hoping to finally find a memorable meal in Italy after many disappointments - we were happy to go. The restaurant presented beautifully and the staff were very friendly. My husband and I cook and are enthusiastic foodies and were so let down by our meal we felt compelled to write... More

this is what happens on trip advisor, someone who criticizes the daily dishes that are appreciated by others without that we can realize what happened. next time do like to sidney, refer back to the dishes if you do not like, so we can see what you did not like, but ...... probably there was not much in the dishes...
