While the view we were treated to was less than perfect because they're refurbishing Piazza del Poppolo, we had a delicious meal at this restaurant. Our waiter was friendly and funny, too. The house red was delicious, and the pizza was fresh and crispy. We had been traveling for hours and our hotel was right across the street. Rather than... More

This really central pizzeria is great! It has napolitan style pizza, so the edges of the pizza are high (not thin like you find in most places in Italy). They also seem to have a variety of other food that looked really good. I will definitely return!

We went for dinner on the recommendations of a few of our fellow travelers who have dined there. As we had been in Italy for over two weeks and eating well, we decided to slowdown and ordered a first and second courses for sharing. My wife ordered the special spaghetti seafood as the first course and I ordered the sliced... More

We dined here three times during August 2013. The seabass special that I had one evening is still one of the best meals i've ever had. I personally preferred eating indoors as the outdoor dining area looks very busy. I would love to dine here again one day and would definitely recommend.

Though the town of Montecatini has many restaurants we ate here twice. Once on the night we arrived and then again the night before we left the town. The pizzas were excellent! We were delighted to discover that they were open until midnight when we arrived at our hotel at 10PM. There weren't many people at the restaurant at 11... More

Stayed in Montecatini several nights as part of a tour group and since Donchisciotte was across the street from our hotel, we decided to give it a try. Glad we did !! We enjoyed one of their lunch specials so much we had to come back for a dinner. The seafood/pasta dishes were fabulous and more than enough for any... More

This restaurant had very good food. We came to the restaurant when it was empty it quickly filled up. Once it filled up, we found the service was terrible. We ordered a glass of wine but did not receive it. It was difficult to even get the waiters attention. Would recommend because the food was excellent but be wary about... More

The Donchiscitte is certainly a grand place to eat. My lady chose the paella and what a great job that did with it. Probably the most shell fish I have ever had in a paella or any other sea food dish I have had. One must not be put off by the exterior the interior is gleaming with brilliant white... More

We ate here twice, the first time when La Belle Epoque was on on 31 August 2013. The town was buzzing and the restaurant was filled to bursting and we still managed to get a table. They took our names and asked us to return in 20 minutes which was no problem. We were given a free glass of bubbly... More
