Very delicate dinners served with a smile

We stayed at the Ercolini Hotel which hosts this nice, small and cozy high quality restaurant. We had inner twice at the restaurant. Four different courses in total. All very delicate, high qualty Tuscany meals with an internation hint. Nice selection of wines. Nice interior, and not least very... read more

As it had quite a high opinion on trip advisor we decided to go for it. The first evening, after we entered we have been informed, not so gently, that the restaurant was fully booked, but we tried again the next day. A restaurant with pretences and the atmosphere from Frankenstein, we didn't find much of the substance on the... More

We made reservation and found ourselves quite lonely at 7:30pm. OK, we didn't know the locals eat at 9:00pm (that was when the restaurant started to fill). The food is very good. The risotto was done just right. The meat very tasty. The proprietor told us that all meats they serve are from local farms. We took their recommendation on... More

Offers lovely variety of scrumptious food. This visit I only had breakfast but on previous visits dinner. Never disappointed.

This is a gem of a restaurant. Staff is very professional, food is great and they treat you like royalty. Various courses were served as compliments of the house, nice touch. Many choices for dinner. Great decor. Would definitely come back. A little more pricy than most restaurants here, but worth it.

We gave this restaurant a try based upon some excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. It certainly lived up to expectations as a fine dining experience. It was definitely a very good place to eat, but no-more than we would expect based on the price paid for the meal. We were welcomed with a glass of Prosecco and provided with a table... More

We're in Montecatini for 2 nights and have just eaten in La Pecora Nera (a hotel restaurant) based on the great reviews here on TripAdvisor, and we weren't disappointed. We hadn't booked but it was no trouble to lay us a table on the front terrace, which was ready in just a couple of minutes. The attention to detail here... More

As visitors of the Ercolini & Savi hotel, of which this restaurant is part, and the reviews on TA we decided to pay it a visit. We were also welcomed with a glass of prossecco. The staff was very friendly and available when needed. Food was very tasteful and portions quite big. As guests of the hotel we even got... More

Fantastic evening sitting outside under the cotton canopy and fragrant Wisteria vines whilst we dined on perfectly cooked, and seasoned, food. Fantastic services, brilliant food, all the dishes were great and we loved our evening here.
