Came here on the first day of our holiday for lunch. They had a menu translated into English, I had a Penne Pasta dish with Sausage and herbs etc, I love pasta, this was the best I've ever had. The sausage meat in the dish was a very small amount. Mainly pasta. But the sauce with the pasta was just... More

First impressions fool, whether it's a pub or bistro? Anyway, most of the time it is full of people. I recommend reserving a table, without a reservation we had hardly eaten throughout the Mestre period. It´s not suitable for people who wish to spend a quiet evening. But the food, especially the pasta and, in particular fresh mozzarella starter, I... More

We found this lovely little Hostaria with very good and varied Cichetti (= Venetian version of Tapas) on our fist day. All cichettis were € 1,- … and we sampled a lot from Fish to prawns and meat balls. all was very fresh and very delicious. Wine is €1 per glass. … at least on this day Because we liked... More

Probably one of the best restaurants in town! Great atmosphere and absolutely scrumptious food! The best thing they have is the whole range of fresh "cicchetti" (Venetian finger food) with meat, veggies, fish, seafood, cheese etc. Very reasonably priced too, with a nice selection of local wine. The restaurant is rather tiny, so reservation for dinner is recommended.

Best meal we have had in Italy since we arrived. Fantastic food, great deserts and brilliant service. Amazing steak, tasty pasta and banana brûlée that we fought over! Can't Waugh to go back tomorrow night

Busy , friendly Family Trattoria, with plenty of fish, and wine by the glass, or bottle. Wait outside for a waiter to call you in , past the aperitivos outside!, or , best to book!. Only meat on menu on our evening was Donkey! - lasagne , or goulash. Our waitress gave my wife a sample , which she enjoyed....real... More

This restaurant was very close to our B&B in Venice (thankfully) and as it turns out our first meal here was the best we had in Venice. Short, simple menu means the food is cooked fresh and done properly. We had a myriad of things, including an appetizer of assorted local foods, vegetable lasagna, seafood pasta, dessert, house wine and... More

Heard that it is a great stop, and we always pass by this place before we reached our hotel. We did not try until the last day before we leave Mestre, and we drop by to have our simple breakfast, with coffee. Ooh,the food is simply good! You will never regret trying!

Well worth the wait for the food. My ravioli was amazing. All the pasta is homemade and so to are the puddings, the crème brulee [not very Italian I know] was a very generous portion and I quietly died and went to heaven it was so scrummy!!! Staff very friendly and bursting with atmosphere.

Buzzing place on a Friday night with hundreds of mainly young groups outside enjoying the bar snacks, good selection of wine & beers, but having fought our way to see if a table was available, we were seated within 20 minutes. This place deserves to be much higher in the rankings, if you like something genuinely Italian, with atmosphere &... More
