We stayed in Hotel Villa Constanza and after a day of strolling in often expensive and busy Venice we like to eat in the 'area'. İ looked at Tripadvisor reviews so after reading those reviews we gave it a try! İt was fab! The carpaccio was so good, the wine and friendly waiters and owner. İ had fush with black... More

We arrived late in the evening to our hotel in Mestre and were advised the Ristorante Dante was a convenient neighbourhood place only a short distance away with reasonable prices. It was easy to find and was exactly what we were told. Standard Italian pastas at, what we would come to find later in our trip, very good prices. As... More

Recommended by Hotel Villa Constanza, we were thrilled by this genuine neighbourhood restaurant full of locals and visitors alike. The owner and staff were really very good, kind and helpful. The fish dishes - both exotic and plain - were amazing. Boned steak, thinly sliced, was also excellent. The Pinot Grigot at 14% was a real find, whilst the house... More

We had dinner at this restaurante, a recommendation from the girl at the hotel. Food was very good and service was excellent. It was the typical pasta and pizza I was expecting, but the quality was good. I would recommend it to someone who is looking for a moderate-priced restaurante.

I had pasta and my wife had the pork. Pasta with duck meat and tomato was ok but tasted a lot like beef mince. Qt he ordinary pasta was offset by my wife's pork. This came with potatoes and a white wine sauce. Very tasty and quite filling.

We liked this restaurant so much that we ate here for six evenings in a row. Friendly helpful staff; excellent, reasonably-priced food. Every meal could not be faulted. My mother is coeliac so cannot eat gluten, the staff were fully aware of how to cope with this and offered her a wide variety of meals, from very good gluten-free pasta... More

What a pleasure to find an authentic and well-priced place not far from the train station. An easy ten minute walk, this vintage Osteria still serves their family specialties with a smile. We enjoyed the steaming gnocchi gratinata, a fresh and flavorful fritto misto, and squid in ink with polenta... and topped it off with their absolutely fabulous sgroppino (best... More

Ristorante Dante is worth a visit. Great food, try their version of Pasta Vongole; excellent. And for desert do not miss their sgripponi - you can get it with either lemon or licorice. Very nice and quiet location, especilly sitting in outside in the front yard. Good service. Reasonable prices.

Had dinner Inside as weather was threatening, cozzy place, good and attentive service, good italian traditional food, accomodated our 3-year old toddler no problem. Not more than 10 minutes walk (with the kid) from train station or from city center.

Superb little restaurant. They made us feel very welcome and were great with the kid. The food was wonderful. Not an easy place to find, but with a map you should have no problem.
