With the option of dining inside or on the terrace, the atmosphere is pleasant and the service friendly. The menu is not extensive but offers an interesting variety. We went back a couple of times.

There is a MacD's inside Venezia Mestre railway station; but why would you?!! Situated just outside is DaTura, with delicious and inexpensive food served in air-conditioned comfort or at shady tables outside according to your preference. We had some time before our train, and that works as it's fast food only in the Italian sense. It being a hot day,... More

If you are staying in this hotel and are tired of visiting Venice, you don't have to go out for dinner. You just stay at the Da Tura restaurant or Da Tura Bistro. The Bistro is cheaper. They have great food at the bistro and it is also affordable. We had a great dinner there on our first night.

With a long wait for the train to Rome we stopped in for lunch at DaTura in the Hotel Bologne, across the street from the Mestre rail station. It's so nice to be pleasantly surprised and DaTura did just that. A varied menu with reasonable prices, the food was very fresh and well presented. Our friends had Rice with Scuftlefish... More

The food was delicious, great service. Walking distance from Mestre station. One thing I noticed in general in restaurants Italy was that you are rushed. If you do not ask for the bill you will be there forever.

Had a great meal in the hotel this evening. Opted for the 3 course tasting menu which at E32 including a glass of wine and desert was great value. Started with the creamed codfish with pumpkin purée which was delicious and just as nice was the pumpkin dumplings and prawns which followed. The beef tenderloin was also really great. Smaller... Soul Kitchen across the street ? Or Da Tura ? Even though the flashy Soul Kitchen may have a better rating, it lacks one important thing that Da Tura has. Flavour. The visually appealing dishes here not only look the part, the taste backs it up. If there is one thing they could improve upon, it should be the desserts.... More

We stayed in Bologna Hotel (which Da Tura belongs to) and just went for dinner one night. The restaurant is modern and bright, and you get free wifi if you dine here. It's just one zebra crossing from the Mestre Station too. The standard a la carte menu is rather pricey, but they do a Bistro menu, which is a... More
