Good food, excellent service, a bit pricey, can't really endorse the other reviews here

Keep in mind that my review is based on one visit only and a limited selection from the menu. I can't in truth endorse the many rave reviews here, but is a good restaurant and other menu selections may well be much better. It was our last day in Torca and we decided to visit this local ristorante which had been recommended to us by our landlord. We were sorry we left it for the last day. The food was superb and the atmosphere was beautiful and peaceful. Il Fienile is a family owned ristorante and we were served by the son, who... More

This is my 4th visit to this restaurant. My I say I am not a tourist but an expatriate that lives here. Every visit delivers the same high quality with excellent portions. I ate a starter, main course and sweet. The presentation was second to none. No wonder locals and tourists alike flock to this place. I highly recommend this... More

The Restaurant was bright and clean. The location is wonderful with fantastic sea views. The staff were friendly and so warm. The food was the best we had encountered during our 2 weeks in Italy. If you want a wonderful meal in a quiet romantic setting, give this restaurant a visit. You will not be disappointed.

Food, service, friendliness, atmosphere all top notch. We fell upon it and first impression we thought it would be a bit on the expensive side so went in slightly in anticipation of not eating much! But, wow, you are made to feel welcome straight away and nothing is too much bother. You know the food is fresh, they grow their... More

We were staying in a home nearby and it was a few weeks before the season starts so this place was only open on Saturday and Sunday! We went on a Sunday for a late lunch and it was incredible. We had wonderful starters, giant capreese salad and a shrimp cocktail. My husband had the seafood pasta that he had... More

We cannot imagine a better way to spend an evening and would return to this restaurant if ever in the area again. The setting and view were wonderful, as was the food. I visited Il Fienile as we were visiting Sorrento for a long weekend. The restaurant is in a lovely quiet setting with beautiful views and is family-run; everyone made us really welcome. The food was a real taste of Italy. I had seafood antipasti followed by king prawns and I also tried some of my partner's home-made pasta - it... More
