My wife and I had a superb meal at Il Fienile. We were looked after from the minute we arrived and the whole experience left us both relaxed and satisfied. Earlier in the day we had popped in to check it out and as we had been on an exhausting walk, we were hot and bothered. Giacomo, the Owner's son... More

I'd had Il Fienile recommended to me last year just before we were leaving our hotel but I made a note and checked out the reviews when I got home. On returning to Sant' Agata in July and only being bed and breakfast, one of my priorities was to try out the restaurant. The food is fresh. You can't get... More

We looked on TA for a good local restaurant near our hotel and saw the excellent reviews and thought to give it a go. This is away form it all in the hills with a superb view of the gulf of Salerno. It is worth the effort to find it but don't try driving into their car park - a... More

Absolutely stunning food, fantastic value for money and it's family run so that staff are all fantastic. You would be really missing out to visit the area and not go to this restaurant for dinner!!!!! The seafood was some of the best we've ever had!

We arrived 1 1/2 hrs late for our dinner reservation at this charming restaurant (due to flight delays) but Luigi went out of his way to make us feel welcome and looked after us superbly throughout our meal. The food was excellent from the amuse bouches to the delicious desserts, and Giacomo, Luigi,s son, is a sommelier and chose an... More

Great, cosy place to taste local specialties at affordable rates. It's a family run business using plenty of home-grown ingredients, such as vegetables, herbs, olive oil and wine. Friendly service.

We read on Trip Advisor that this was a "Hidden Gem" Couldn't agree more! The food really is first class. I have travelled around quite a bit over the years (and look rather portly as penance for my love of good food). I have experienced many different cuisines, cultures and atmospheres. This Gem truly has it ALL! Family run restaurant... More

This was a lovely dining experience all around - everything from the food, the atmosphere and the service was excellent and memorable. The owner was extremely welcoming to our group and made us feel at home, and even showed us where they were preparing to make their homemade tomato sauce. Lots of little "extras" provided, as well. The day after... More

We ate at this restaurant on three occasions during our recent stay in the area. Food and service were excellent and great value for money. Jacamo and his dad were attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.Highly recommended!
