The owners welcomed us as guests in their home

The food was excellent! We had just arrived to our Villa from Rome ( Villa Luisa) and the owner Anna recommended we come. There were 6 of us and we couldn't decide what to get so one of the owners of the restaurant said he would bring us out several dishes to try. It was excellent! The dishes... read more

We had a fabulous evening meal at this Restaurant. It is situated close to viewing platform famous for the view of Capri. The food is prepared by various family members and was delicious. The staff are all very welcoming and the menu was as you would expect in this region. The bill was very reasonable and I would highly recommend... More

The food is really excellent! Si mangia da Dio! Przeurocze miejsce z przepiękną panoramą na Capri! Obsługa, a w szczególności Pani Alessia przemiła! Gościnność, pyszne jedzenie, klimatyczne miejsce, bardzo szybko serwowane dania! Polecamy gorąco! The place is really worth visiting. You will absolutely not be disappointed! Almost forget - deserts are so delicious and are made my Alessia's mom! Un... More

We were renting Torre Petra just next door to this place. Our first evening we decided to try out what looked like a picture postcard perfect place to eat. The service was pushy when ordering and then lousy thereafter. Half our food never arrived and when it did it was wrong. My fish was watery, the tail end and full... More

We had a party of 13 renting a villa in Massa Lubrense. As we were checking in we met the villa owner and she took us to lunch at La Torre. We knew we would return! This is a family restaurant: father Tonino runs the front of the house, his wife works miracles in the kitchen and their two daughters... More

We are on our honeymoon in the sorrento area and found La Torre by chance while exploring the area and searching for food. Immediately we had high hopes for the place as it certainly looks the part of your classic, family run Italian restaurant. We arrived relatively late, around 9pm on a Friday night, and most of the tables were... More

We instinctively knew as we sat down for Sunday lunch here that we were in for something special. We had taken the bus from Sorrento to Massa Lubrense and walked the rest of the way to the restaurant, mainly on an off-road path. The welcome was a warm as the July sunshine and the food came in the form of... More

About the nicest dining experience we had in Italy The two sisters who run it (with help from their parents and one delightful daughter who was busy at her homework during our first visit) are charming and efficient, and the food is super fresh and beautifully prepared. Plus La Torre sits in a charming hilltop village with beautiful views across... More

La Torre was a wonderful gastronomic and cultural experience. The dishes were all prepared with a unique home style that was at the same time elegant and very tasty. The family members from Papa to Mama to the daughters, son and granddaughter all bustled and smiled and managed a fabulous presentation and evening. Set on a beautiful point just steps... More
