More traditional Sorrento style food than gourmet style (far from Michelin one star level). We chosed the two tasting menus. They were good as for getting a taste of local dishes we otherwise did not try but it way to much pasta and plain tomatos style dishes (even if season for tomatos) Wine was quite average. Good that they had... More

We have visited some restaurants in the neighbourhood, based on the hotel concierge's recommedation. But the only one that we decided to visit again and again was La Torre. Food of highest quality. Service (Tonino and his beautiful daughter) not only professional but just friendly and competent. Everything priced modestly. Recommended for everybody that knows Italian cuisine and is able... We went with a group of friends after a indication of the owner of the house we rent. The rest is very cute and its a family business. We sat in a table next to the kitchen and we heard loud noise lots of time....as family does (discussion)....we know that italians are known to speak loudly but for sure wasnt... More

My husband and I were only customers on a rainy Sunday evening, but were made to feel welcome and treated to excellent food. The house wine was great. Try the chocolate cake and chocolate covered strawberries. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!!

If you want good quality Italian food served by a proprietor whose party trick appears to be overruling a la carte choices by sheer force of personality, well this place may suit. If you want to select your own dishes, perhaps have a steak cooked more than rare, avoid being presented with more food than you want ....well it may... More

During our 10 day vacation in Sorrento we ate 3 times in ristorante La Torre ! It was simply AMAZING ! The food was fantastic, very fresh, local, tastefull ...The location was breath taking, away from tourists and traffic of Sorrento, great view and a real "local experience"...The hospitality from the owners was great and we strongly recommend this restaurant... We had a lovely meal - delicious food, wonderful atmosphere. We are well into the chilled Italian way of life, but the slow service was too much for us. We didn't know if we'd get all of our meal. This is a lovely family run place, but the chaotic family waitresses let it down. Not sure I'd go again.

Good local cuisine, the atmosphere is super and tonino is a legend! The house-wine is fantastic, they're all local wines!

This place is all you always wanted to find in Italy. A family business and award-winning restaurant, with the most lovely padron and chef around. Maria will only use the finest ingredients for her creations, every dish is healthy and light, since the quality is impeccable and everything is homemade. From the various antipasti, homemade pasta (farfalle) fresh fish. I... More

Visited twice over a week's stay in Massa Lubrense. On both occassions the food was delicious - rustic italian at its freshest and all locally sourced. The mixed appetisers are excellent as were all of the seafood/pasta dishes we sampled. The first time we attended, the service was slow and we were given a table down on the tarmac rather... More
