The menu here is fish-based and you'll find a few unusual offerings which are sure to please. Choosing was difficult but everyone was pleased with what they ordered in the end. The presentation of the food was original and excellent with attention to detail. The fish was so tasty and fresh, with layers of flavours that were delicate and subtle.... More

We had a very enjoyable dinner here. The "not cooked not raw" appetizer was delicious and colorful, the pasta with swordfish and gambero rosso tasty and the white grillo wine from Sicily perfect with the food. Very popular so reserve! Staff is attentive and speaks English.

SLO is a rather posh modern Osteria, the kind of place you would go to to impress someone. Decor is nice and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately the food is only average: We were served rather bland pasta and completely overdone tuna. Prices are high for Sicily.

Excellent Meal, friendly staff- a little bit expensive for the area but truly a fine experience. Three of us had two courses each and were more than stuffed

Never before have I seen a restaurant that offers such a great value. We took a while to pick a fine place to eat and I believe San Lorenzo to be the best restaurant in town. The other two we visited were not even close to the standard offered by San Lorenzo....our server - Alex was super friendly and attentive.... More

This is the third time we visited Marsala and the third time we came to dine at SLO. Excellent fine quality food cooked to perfection..... One of the best restaurants ever. Home made cooked pasta, a buffet starter to die for and food which is cooked with an attention to detail which defies belief.

Very nice, modern and confortable restaurant in a nice square. Great appetizer selection, very good pasta, desserts and wine up to par. Friendly and attentive service, owner speaks impeccable English. A must go if in the area.

By far the best meal I had in Sicily. Centrally located, beautiful room tastefully decorated and very comfortable tables. But it is the food which is spectacular: the appetizers were magnificent, the spaghetti with sarde, artichokes, wild fennel and almond was the best I ever had and so was the simply grilled fish, thin sliced calamari and a red snapper.... Dinner at San Lorenzo Osteria (SLO) was an excellent recommendation by Hotel Carmine! Don’t miss the appetizer buffet (unlike any “buffet” you’ve ever experienced). The assortment of appetizers was spectacular– and each delicious. We sat in the lovely enclosed area outside the main restaurant. We took a tip from Gaspare (our host at Hotel Carmine) and ordered the busiata con... More
