Fish-restaurant with excellent service. Good suggestions for wine and food. Family-owned business (the young generation have now taken over) - you feel they care for the whole process

Wonderful service and good food which made our visit much better! Very cheap and good food, especially the pasta.

Great little restaurant; walked in on a Saturday night and they were able to get us a table.. very decently priced, BEST fried squid I've ever had, staff very friendly and helpful! I live in Northern Italy, and have found Southern Italy hospitality to be MUCH better. We enjoyed our entire dinner and the restaurant is very cute nautical themed.... More

I was in Marsala november, last year, for about a week, and had dinner for three of four times at Portico Blu, during that time. It is that good! The sea-related decoration is amazing and very fitting to the environment of the town and its location, and only good things can be said about the sympathy and profissionalism of the... More

We were recommended to try this restaurant by a local Marsala wine merchant. An excellent recommendation. We opted for their specialty, the seafood antipasti and zuppa di cosse [mussels] The meal was simply divine and service superb. Would highly recommend this restaurant without reservation.

I had the pasta con ricci di mare (sea urchins) -- worth the 2 hour drive from Palermo! My wife and kids had some more simple pasta with sausage, which was still great. The antipasto, some small sardine-like fish, was out of this world. The caprese is pretty easy -- but the tomatoes they used were of the highest quality.... More

Disclaimer: I visited this restaurant on a very busy and crowded saturday evening (in Marsala there was a "notte bianca"), so maybe I was unlucky. The antipasti were clearly pre-cooked. My swordfish cooked in a hurry. Price was over average. The waiter was quite superficial in his suggestions, clearly aiming at suggesting "easy going" food rather than special dishes. Not... More

What's nice: Pasta with swordfish and nuts, fruits desert, the staff and the reasonable price. What's not so nice: The dry pasta with dry sardines, the squids and seafood soup (too much salt). What's in-between: Red prawns is delicious, if they reduce 75% of the salt!

Our group of 11 reserved a big table and we were very wellcome for the owner. He frienly helped us and we asked to make a bit of everything as primi piatti. We recieved a nice melange so everybody found his thing. The second plate was the catch of the day presented to us before preparation . We enjoyed our... More
