It was a nice location with a perfect view over the coastline. The food was good and nicely presented. Not easy to find but there are signs that helps you get there :-).

We liked the setting very much, beautiful view from up there. It takes about ten minutes drive to get there from Marsala but we didn't regret it. The service was kind and friendly, we found many attractive dishes in their menu and we tried a few. Some we liked, some we did not dislike, they were all fresh and well... More

We were looking forward to an exceptional gastronomic experience at this Marsala restaurant due to the buzz about the chef. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting on a hill overlooking the town of Marsala and the sea, and is tastefully decorated. It is far from the old city and most hotels, so a car or taxi is needed to... More

We were taken to La Lumie by American friends who live in Sicily since this is one of their favorites when visiting Marsala. We had a table on the outside deck and completely enjoyed our meal and the view. Lots of wonderful choices on the menu, well prepared, and the staff makes you feel right at home. We could agree... Nice place, location and view but not worthwhile: poor menu' and meals not excellent except for the raw red prawns antipasto (you don't need a lot to do if the fish is fresh). Also expensive. i won't go there again.

Our hotel organised for us to be picked up in a car by Le Lumie and taken to their restaurant as it is a 15 minute drive out of the city. The driver was actually the chef & owners father, and was very friendly and welcoming. When we arrived at the restaurant we had been set a table right next... More

We had dinner here yesterday. Great view and fairly priced. The food however was not very impressive. We had mackarel on toast as a starter, I had vitello and my girlfriend had grilled white fish with (cold!) caponata and grilled vegetables as sidedishes. It all was not bad but flavourless. Even the fresh bread did not seem well baked. I... More

Family Restaurant: the son is the cook and owner, father the "receptionist", sister the waitress. Very good food, wine, view and kindly staff - we went twice!

Very romantic spot in the hills. Food was exceptional and well worth a visit. Try to get one of the tables facing towards the sea. The restaurant is a bit of a distance from anywhere, but they will arrange taxis for you back to your hotel.

We, however, had no problems because we were picked up from and taken back to our hotel by the chef's father, an elderly gentleman with many things to tell about Marsala on the way. After many twists and turns off the Marsala-Trapani road, we reached this nice hillside place with a view towards the sea. Food was as nice as... More
