Total surprise - a gem in this toristic part of Marsala

Right from the arrival you feel to be Guest. The couple that run the place demonstrate that they like their profession. My wife chose the Marsala sweet and I settled for the dry one. A true treat and this with two plates of delicious muncies for a total of euros 10.00 only. Definitely a place to... read more

It had been raining in San Vito so we drove along the coast to Marsala for lunch, undecided where to eat we popped in for an aperitivo with the intention of going back to shop for Marsala later, greeted with a huge smile from the wonderful Giusy we were (easily) persuaded to stay and have a wine tasting with accompanying... Due to a storm in the morning we decided to visit Marsala and dropped in on the way to lunch elsewhere. Needless to say we stayed and didn't make it elsewhere for lunch. Wonderful place to visit, great wines, snscks and thank you Giusy!

The most popular wine bar and probably the best in Marsala. Located in Via Garibaldi in the center of town, is a small place which offer an imprersive selection of local wines and marsala by the glass. The wine is served by an "aperitif" in the form of several crostini/bruschette with spreads of caponata, pesto and other local produce. The... More

We were so happy to find this place. Sit and relax with the greatest host and wonderful snacks. No trip to this area is complete without walk down this viale and some broken conversation with delightful owner/host Salvatore.

We went there for their marsala tasting special and I will remember the experience as one of my best memories in Marsala. If you go too late, don't expect too much to eat - but that's fine if you are there for the wine tasting. The server was knowledgable and gave us a wide selection - he understood very well... More

As you walk past and Salvatore is holding court it looks a bit daunting/random, but if you want a nice glass of wine or marsala and a taste of local foods give it a go. This isn't a restaurant no price list on view hence the concerns. Don't worry Salvatore will look after you. We had a number of glasses... More

Salvatore, the owner is really laid back. He has exclusive Marsala, way better than all the commercial Marsalas in the shops. He and Giula are great hosts, serving lovely snacks to accompany the Marsala and the wines. You get a plate of all sorts of Tapenades . The ambiance is perfect, jazz background music and with wine bottles everywhere. This... More

I love the occasions when you stumble upon a gem when you least expect it. This felt like a trip to Narnia where we stumbled into the door of La Sirena and bewitched by the choice of Marsala's and pestoed antipasti we emerged but hours later, slightly tipsy but well fed and glowing. As enotecas go, this is beautifully decorated,... More

A cosy place. An excellent range of wines. Do not leave without asking for a glass of Marsala wine. More importantly, please ask for the local typical dish (sorry, I do not remember the name). They look like canapés, yet 10 times tastier. A place not to be missed by wine lovers.
