As you walk past and Salvatore is holding court it looks a bit daunting/random, but if you want a nice glass of wine or marsala and a taste of local foods give it a go. This isn't a restaurant no price list on view hence the concerns. Don't worry Salvatore will look after you. We had a number of glasses... More

Salvatore, the owner is really laid back. He has exclusive Marsala, way better than all the commercial Marsalas in the shops. He and Giula are great hosts, serving lovely snacks to accompany the Marsala and the wines. You get a plate of all sorts of Tapenades . The ambiance is perfect, jazz background music and with wine bottles everywhere. This... More

I love the occasions when you stumble upon a gem when you least expect it. This felt like a trip to Narnia where we stumbled into the door of La Sirena and bewitched by the choice of Marsala's and pestoed antipasti we emerged but hours later, slightly tipsy but well fed and glowing. As enotecas go, this is beautifully decorated,... More

A cosy place. An excellent range of wines. Do not leave without asking for a glass of Marsala wine. More importantly, please ask for the local typical dish (sorry, I do not remember the name). They look like canapés, yet 10 times tastier. A place not to be missed by wine lovers.

We were made to feel very welcome at this very reasonably priced wine bar. The appetisers were generous and very tasty and we sampled half a dozen interesting wines during our two visits. The owners were charming and showed us typically (for some tastes, over-the-top!) hospitality. We would recommend this thoroughly for pre-dinner drinks

We visited this winebar three times; the assortment is huge, the service great. We were offered some toast with different spreads like onions, olives/anchovies, almonds/peppers etc. So good we bought 7 different tastes to take home. Your in Marsala: try the Marsala tasting of 3 different Marsala types!

We really enjoyed this place! We wanted to try something that is typical for Marsala and we did the right choice: Marsala wine with pate&pesto appetizers. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for and the service was great, as well. I would highly recommend it!

Sample and learn about different Marsala wines (did you know there are dry Marsala wines? We didn't - they are excellent), the little appetizers assembled from a range of salsas, preserves and morsels of sea food are a joy, and the people working here are lovely. We were very happy with our experience, would recommend it to anyone and would... More

I came here with the intentions of staying one hour until my train was leaving, having a glass of marsala. As people have said here, you first get an introduction and to taste four different marsalas and then you get a glass of your choice with some bruschettas with all kinds of delicious patés/pestos they also sell. Salvatore the owner... More

We were lucky that the in Marsala suddenly started to rain, so we walked into the wine bar. The owner greeted us kindly, offered good wine and appetizers ... and so it began. A brief visit turned into a pleasant conversation of two hours. It is worth to visit. Best regards to staff. We will remember Marsala, the city and... More
