nice place for a quick lunch

food wasn't spectacular, but really quite good; yes, it is a tourist restaurant and doesn't claim to be anything else, but portions were large & the Busiate al Scoglio really quite tasty. Neither can I understanding the raving reviews, nor the "terrible tourist trap" classification; decent food... read more

Delicious food, quick services, very friendly staff. The waitress could speak fluent English and was really helpful. They were also willing to cook a special dish for my little sister as she couldn't find anything that she liked on the menu list. One of the best dinners we had on Sicily!!!

An excellent lunch along with a very friendly staff. The bread, made in town at a local fornaio, was truly the best I have ever had - so much so that I returned to the US with 1 lone slice and savored every last morsel.

The antipasto was a little bit more original than other antipasti we have tried, because it also had some savoury pies and other dishes we had not encountered before. My girlfriend had the gnocchi with speck and pistachio which was good. I had the pasta all'arabiata and the orange and vennel salad which were satisfying. The location was in a... More

We visited Marsala on a Saturday afternoon and we're shocked to find a dead city. After wandering around the sweltering heat we came across this restaurant tucked away I'm a little side street. The waitress was glad to take our orders and was very gracious despite it being past the normal hour when Sicilians eat their lunch. She was also... More

Went there by an afternoon with some friends, when they were about to close for the Sicilian "siesta", they accepted kindly to serve us, sitting outside enjoying table in the tiny street, ordered a great display of different local dishes made with local products, we wanted to discover more about Grillo grape and local wines, so the waitress proposed us... Not the gourmet type of place, but,for example, very nice bruschetta, tasty spaghetti pomodoro etc ie old favorites which are not adventurous, yet always good to have. They make them well, and they offer them at a not too high rate. In that sense there is little that can go wrong here, while it will also not be remembered for... More

Thiis restaurant lies in the centre of Marsala's 'old town'. The welcome and service are extremely friendly and the food is excellent for its price. Couscous with fish is definitely to be recommended - a local speciality. It has a wide-ranging menu of reasonably priced dishes and the ambience is very pleasant. To be recommended for a taste of Marsala... More

In the heart of Marsala old town, this is a very nicely decorated little restaurant with typical sicilian puppets and backgrounds all round - a very unique atmosphere. Couscous marinara was outstanding. Worth a vist - great value too!
