Very typical restaurant with the normal menu. The staff are characters with various locals coming and going in to different nooks. We only visited once food pretty average. Big antepasta buffet for 9 euros seems to be their USP.

We arrived at this restaurant very late - at 3 pm - but we were served with efficiency and courtesy. The pasta and the seafood were top class and the wine excellent. This is Italy as one would like it to be. The place appears to be popular - deservedly.

Just inside the Porta Garibaldi, this was recommended by a couple of people. A lot of locals were here so thats always a good sign! The antipasti buffet was good however it was late and the selection wasnt as much as I suspect is was earlier in the evening... So for the 9 euro per plate, it was a little... More

Set just inside the walls of the old town this pleasant trattoria serves good traditional local cuisine. At lunch on a Sunday, most of the clientele was local with large extended family groups. In September the option to eat outside was not available although the piazza is clearly pleasant. The mixed antipasti buffet offers a wide selection and is very... More

The service was very good...the ambiance was fine...the price was reasonable...the food ranged from very good (the cheese course) to not very good (the main course...blue fin tuna...tonno rosso)...I would return but not soon.

We had lunch here. Nice place in center of Marsala. The antipasti buffet was great and very tasteful. The couscous di pesce okay but somewhat disappointing, only one sort of fish used. Besides way the service was way too quick. Average.

We were in Marsala just before Easter, during a terrible wind and rain storm. The staff at the Archeological Museum recommended this restaurant and they were nice enough to let us come a little earlier than their usual opening time in order to save us from the pouring rain! They were very helpful in translating the local names of the... More

Two different people recommended this place, but unfortunately the food was terrible. The fish seemed frozen (it smelled) and the scalopine was very bland. May have been a bad choice of menu, or it is normal. It was full of locals, so expected a lot better.

Excellent Antipasto Table. Affordably priced. Tacky 1970's decor. Good location for tourists. An old school family-run joint. For under 10 Euro's you can make a great meal of antipasto selections and bread. Yum!

Five of us had a lunch in Trattoria Garibaldi, which was recommended by a shopkeeper in the nearby fish-market, in Marsala. The original and authentic cous-cous with fish soup was delightful. Fish were fresh. And the typical dessert, accompanied by marsala wine, was fantastic. Most of all, the owner and the waitress were most hospitable.
