Amazing place

But sadly the food is so so and the service is rather horrible. We were a large group but they messed up the orders and forgot to bring Fanta for the kids. The view is amazing though

Definetely one of the best cannoli we've had in Sicily. A very generous portion, too. Friendly service,

We both had shellfish (one crab and lobster, the other with mussels, clams and scampi) with Trapanese pasta - a kind of thick, curled pasta - in tomato sauce. The presentation, to our North american ways, was crude, with huge pieces of shell and whole shrimp, including the head, but everything was delicious and the plates were huge. Judging from... More

We came for the views and got snacks as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is a fantastic location with many views of the salt pans and windmills with islands in the background. We did not eat at the restaurant.

We stopped in this place for some food and to have a look around the salt planes, before heading to San Vito Lo Capo. The restaurant has a lovely view over the salt planes and some old wind mills. The food we ordered was lovely, but there was this older waiter looking at us a bit snobbish, like we are... More

We reserved a table in advance. Upon arrival we waited 30 minutes to get apperitivo... that wasn't nice...BUT who would think that it would take 1 hour and 40 minutes for the appetizers NOT to arrive. We complained to waiters that we were waiting for too long to get the service but they didn't seem to care at all. Overall,... More

When you arrive here, possibly around 19.00, you realise you are in one of the most spectacular places you have ever seen. Stop here for an apertivo at sunset and you'll be transported into a different dimension. Food..., ok but this is not he reason you are here.

Sunset over the salt flats/windmill was beautiful but we booked for a meal and that was less than sensible. We were wary due to previous reviews and the price gouging started early on with the unavailability of our chosen wine, two alternatives were offered without access to the wine list and both turned out to but 25% more than the... The biggest asset of this restaurant is the stunning view you get from the open terrace: a panorama marked by salt pans and millstones. The food was good but the restaurant is expensive for what it offers. What is worst, they overcharged the wine we drank by 9 euros. Of course, I cannot definitely say they did on purpose (they...
