Very average

There were only tourists dining when we visited. There is little to recommend with very average food. The service was quite good but let down by the cooking. Far too much salt for us but this seems to be a local thing...possibly because of the weather.

Quaint, charming restaurant in a small alley off the main piazza in Maratea. Very good local traditional food. A little pricey for what we ate

this is a typicall tourist trap. we paid 150€ for 5 people with only one dish per person and two antipasti for all of us. in the entry hall you have a wonderful buffet that is also in the menu. we chose this and the server brought us himself HIS selection from the buffet with very little food (3 pieces... On the surface this appears to be a real find. However the food was poor and expensive. Left feeling we had been ripped off like a couple of unsuspecting and naive tourists. Don't be taken in !!

We went twice to this restaurant during our stay in Maratea. We were left on the fence as to whether to recommend it or not. The first night my husband had a pork roulade which was amazing and I had the fish with almond crumb which unfortunately didn't have much taste at all. I like fine dining portions but this... More

We ate here on our first night of eight in Maratea, and were left a little flat and disappointed by the whole experience. On a narrow side street off the main street, this is quite a traditional venue. Food was of reasonable quality, but for the prices they are charging, not that great really. What left me even flatter, was... More

Great food, the restaurants is small and has a very good environment. Staff is really helpful and the house wine is really good!

Ate here after seeing good reviews from Trip Advisor. Food and restaurant were more upmarket than the other town restaurants. Good choice of local dishes and wines. Advice from the English speaking owner was very useful in choosing a great meal.

We are here a few nights ago and despite the sweetness of the waitress - found the food to be very uninspiring - I even has to send back my antipasto - so unpleasant was it ( and I never do that !) I fear this is just another generic tourist restaurant in once beautiful now spoiled Maratea.

Small, traditional and casual local restaurant with a fantastic primi buffet featuring an assortment of delicious specialties which are arranged onto a sampler platter for the table. Generally the most flavorful and well executed meal in a traditional context that we had in Rome, Amalfi coast, or Maratea, Strangely, at least during Ferrogusto, most restaurants we tried were disappointing.
