Ate here after seeing good reviews from Trip Advisor. Food and restaurant were more upmarket than the other town restaurants. Good choice of local dishes and wines. Advice from the English speaking owner was very useful in choosing a great meal.

We are here a few nights ago and despite the sweetness of the waitress - found the food to be very uninspiring - I even has to send back my antipasto - so unpleasant was it ( and I never do that !) I fear this is just another generic tourist restaurant in once beautiful now spoiled Maratea.

Small, traditional and casual local restaurant with a fantastic primi buffet featuring an assortment of delicious specialties which are arranged onto a sampler platter for the table. Generally the most flavorful and well executed meal in a traditional context that we had in Rome, Amalfi coast, or Maratea, Strangely, at least during Ferrogusto, most restaurants we tried were disappointing. We stay in Maratea for few days of seaside and relax and we have been recommended this restaurant by some friends.. we ended to go there twice in 3 days. The food is very good and the quality of ingredients genuine and tasty. The choice of courses is good and no matter if you like meat or fish you will... More

Followed lonely planets recommendation on this one, and it was not wrong. Pretty little place with just a few tables. Good Italian food, we had different pastas and got the waiter to recommend the wine.Good choice. I can't help thinking that Italian restaurants could gain something when it comes to atmosphere just by dimming down the bright lights and lighting... More

This is a small, charming restaurant which delivers some really excellent dishes. Service was also excellent; our lovely waitress (who has studied to be a translator and speaks fine English), was always available, but never hovering. We started to order from the menu when the waitress explained that there were several seafood items that they didn't have that evening...that they... More

This restaurant was recommended by two of the guests at our hotel as the place to eat in Maratea. The atmosphere and ambience was non-existant. The food was poor to ordinary and one plate had to be sent back as it was not cooked through. The speciality of the day was ordinary, small portions and very overpriced. Told the owner... More

We enjoyed our meal here and would definitely recommend it. The calamari was great: huge pieces of octopus in a tasty tomato sauce. Also a nice house wine.
