Great food and setting for the price

This restaurant is in a lovely setting, overlooked by the castle in a cobbled street. The outside terraces weren't open as it wasn't too warm, so we sat inside the cosy dining room. The food is clearly made to order, which is always a good sign, which of course means it takes longer to arrive at your table, which isn't... More

The location right by the castle and overlooking the lake is stunning. We ate here twice as there was so much that we wanted to try. Both service and food were impeccable - do try the trout and leek lasagne and the amazing pannacotta -and we would highly recommend this place even though it takes a bit of finding.I agree... More

The staff accepted a group of 18 of us and accommodated perfectly, all at least minute. the food was spot on and the service was funny and fantastic. we actually started our wedding here with everyone meeting on the terrace at 9am, the staff were there to help even at that early time! i can't recommend this venue enough!

We had dinner here our first night in Malcesine and are sorry that we didn't go back. The waiter made us feel welcome and relaxed, made good recommendations on wine and food and were fluent in both English and German. Their terrace next to the castle in Malcesine with view of the lake is unique and just beautiful. I would... More

I worry that not enough people will try this restaurant. It's almost perfect. A beautiful terrace overlooking the castle and the lake with a great menu (you must try the carpaccio) The prices are ridiculously cheap for the quality of food you receive. Overall the best restaurant in malcesine.

Lovely setting right beside Malcesine Castle with a view over the lake. Great service, lovely wine and ample food portions. We ate here 2-3 times for lunch during our stay in May 2014. Will happily go back as we enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and alfresco dining.

We ate here twice, even though we weren't staying in Malcesine. We found this restaurant by accident on a day trip, and decided to make it our farewell dinner destination. The meals we had were superb - the kind of food that ruins you for 'regular' cooking. The gnocchi with clams just melted in your mouth, as did the monkfish... More

This restaurant was without a doubt the best one we visited in Malcesine. The food was excellent the waiter Giovanni was really helpful and picked a bottle of wine that was excellent. I had the Carpaccio Carne Salade, Spaghetti Pescatore followed by a chocolate fondant. Each course was superbly cooked and the taste was brilliant My wife had the ham... More

Found this from trip advisor and worth hunting down as it is a fantastic gem perched on the side of the castle. The staff are attentive and friendly with good efficient service. The menu has a good choice and all the meals we had were delicious. One of the group had the beef carpaccio on two occasions and it was... More
