Great food and service, with amazing views!

We had our wedding reception at Al Corsaro in May 2015. We had the restaurant exclusively with 62 guests, 10 of whom were under 2. The restaurant were really helpful in setting up our place names/ favours etc and the food was amazing! We opted for 3 starters, first course of risotto and main course... read more

After having received good reco on Saturday I went to such restaurant with my wife. The menu list is ok, but the unpleasant situation has been that what we wanted to order was not available any more as in few weeks they will close... !!! the same for wine!!! To me this really unacceptable, if you are open you should... More

Perfect. One word sums up our experience of Al Corsaro. Not many people choose this restaurant for their wedding breakfast/reception, but more should. Set right on the lakeshore underneath Malscesine Castle and a short stroll from the centre of town it's setting was only surpassed by the food and service from Mario and his team. We ate al fresco, and... More

Quite simply, I have never had the pleasure of such attentiveness to help make a day so special. Nothing is out of the question and Mario and staff will pull it off so you do not have to worry about a thing. If it isn't an event you are planning, a normal romantic evening meal as the sun sets on... More

Spacey restaurant with large courtyard onto lakefront. Excellence fish here and in a good location beneath the castle. Bit pricey though. Good service.

Al Corsaro was advised to us by the hotel owner at Malcesine as a place that is very good but a bit expensive. He was right, except about the price. We chose the chef’s menu consisting of two courses (pasta, fish from the lake) and a dessert (two choices). The meal, including an appetizer (good spritz!) and a bottle of... More

Firstly the food here is fabulous! The starters, pasta, beef fillet and dessert we had were all delicious! We ate here twice during our holiday as we enjoyed it so much! The staff here are friendly and attentive. The restaurant is at the end of a promenade section of the lake next to the base of the castle so it's... More

Perfect location, with the waters of Lake Garda lapping beneath you! Fabulous risotto & gnocchi and a pretty good pizza too! Very reasonable prices and good service. It's close to a beautiful house which is popular for weddings so a lazy afternoon with great food and wine watching a local wedding was perfect!

Originally booked for the terrace thinking we'd dine in warm, sunny conditions, alas it rained! The service was very good. The carpaccio of smoked fish as a starter was a delicious highlight, the scallops were nice but lacked any wow factor, some lime or spices might have helped. The ravioli stuffed with fish was less inviting and rather heavy. The... More
