Delicious food

We had a nice dinner on the terasse even so it was rainy because the terasse was very good covered. We ordered the bruscetta and the ruccola salad as pre-dishes. The salad was already great but the bruscetta I can higly recommend, the bread was perfectly baked with garlic and the toppings... read more

Two meals eaten here, one was great - pasta with vegatebles and arugula and pepperoncini - this is very simple but very very tasty. Homemade lasagna were average, vino della casa was perfect. Will definitely come back here.

Stumbled, as you do, across this little restaurant in teh back streets of Malcesine and it is a gem. Nothing pretentious, just very good quality Italian food. The sea food pizza was to die for (take a look at the picture i've added). The restaurant was consistently busy, mainly with Italians, so you know its going to be good. Service... More

Lovely waitress and two excellent meals eaten here. The second meal was the best meal of our week in Malchesine and all the other meals were good. Nice atmosphere. Central location

In Malcesine for a week, we had lunch here once and dinner twice. The food is of a high quality, freshly prepared and beautifully presented. In addition to the main menu they have a specials' menu which changes every day and which contains an additional choice of 3 main dishes. All the meals were great and the portions were huge.... We came across Mignon whilst exploring Malcesine on our first day at Lake Garda. We quickly looked it up on Trip Advisor, saw great reviews and decided immediately to see if they had a table for us for lunch. We were greeted warmly and given a lovely table on the terrace. We both ordered pasta, mine with Mediterranean vegetables and... More

Only found this because it was recommended by a local, but when we arrived it was very busy and obviously popular. Looks small from outside but has a variety of rooms and terraces so have not booked for any of our visits. We don't usually visit the same restaurant twice on holiday but this was an exception. Closed on a... More

Before our 4th holiday to Malcesine in August/Sept, I had a look at the restaurant ratings to see where Mignon currently sat as it had always been our favourite restaurant. I was very surprised to see it had dropped to No 20 of 81 restaurants. We still wanted to go there, but because of the rating, we were expecting things... More

Just had a special of the day tagliatelle with clams. Very nice. There are a lot of eateries here but not many are good. After 5 nights this is the best by far. Staff are friendly and attentive, feels like they are genuinely interested in what you say and what you order. Food is really good. English is well spoken... More

This terraced restaurant was exceedingly busy and one could see why. They were very accommodating, fast, efficient, gracious and warm. The gracefulness of the main waitress / owner was special. The food was excellent, just the right amount and the price paid was very small. Everyone who came after us was treated in the same manner and nothing was too... More
