We visited Mignon after reading the reviews on trip advisor and really hoped we were going to have a delicious meal. To be honest, it really wasn't what we had hoped for. The bruschetta began the meal well but the main dishes we ordered were disappointing. I had a daily special (pasta with steak) which wasn't bad but it didn't... More

We decided to eat here through a combination of factors; firstly it had good TripAdvisor reviews, secondly the prices looked pretty good, and thirdly the terrace was interestingly set over several levels, and had lots of pretty flowers and plants. We were greeted by a friendly and jokey waiter who spoke good English. For starters we shared 3 dishes between... More

My friend and I decided to eat here on our last night in Malcesine. We had called in about 11.30am to book a table for about 8pm. We where told it was a busy time but that we should be able to get a table ok! We arrived about 7.45pm and where told no tables available outside but plenty inside.... More

Portion size is good, and the extensive menu and wine list is reasonably cheap, however our visit was a little disappointing due to being served frozen veg with our meal. To be fair in previous years the veg has been fresh, so maybe this was a one off, but check before you order.

Great little find in the small winding streets of Malcesine. Great wine and good value, able to accommodate a large group (12) with no problems. Everyone left happy and full.

this was a lovely restaurant with brilliant fillet steak although if you arrived after 9pm quite often the ground terrace was already closed therefore stuggled to get in on a few occasions

The restaurant is very pretty, with a terrace and balconies. We visted the restaurant four times in our stay in Malceine and the food we had was excellent on very occassion. The white fish from the lake and the fillet steak were superb as was the pizza I had on another occassion. Something for everyone plus the staff were so... More

Service was casual but polite. Time between courses was great, not too long and not too short. It's nice to let one's food settle and not be rushed. Food was nice but I have had better and also make similar. The bread was of a good quality and the wine was pleasant and cheap. The antipasti is enough for two... More
