We expected to pay the earth when we walked in and we were quite surprised. Chicken was really tasty. Tuna was great. Potions more than adequate. We sat in a little private booth overlooking the ocean. Wine recommendation was spot on. Variety of wine to suit most pockets.

Italy is no stranger to me, having studied abroad in Firenze years ago. The food, the wine, the atmospheres are amazing...that said, returning on my honeymoon and visiting the almafi coast took things to a new level...then we arrived at Terre Normanna. It's day 7 of our trip, we have had some fantastic meals as we traveled throughout the country,... More

While on a tour staying at the lovely San Francesco Hotel, where all our meals were included, my friends and I decided to try this often touted Maori landmark. The hotel driver graciously brought us there & picked us up after dinner. Our accommodating hotel also made reservations for us so Torre Normanna were aware we were guests of the... More

This place has stunning views down the coast, and the food and service are excellent. However, the portions can be minuscule (my husband ordered as a main course a seafood "fantasy" which was about 3/4 of a cup of broth with about 8 small pieces of seafood in it). They take themselves very seriously and keep asking whether it's good.... More

And it was squid. I don't even it cod, but you know what i kinda liked it. The chicken and filet of beef mains were... More

My husband and I arrived at Torre Normanna after a sweaty hike from Minori. We were just going to check out the menu and make reservations for another time, but we were approached and asked if we wanted lunch. We said okay. We were seated at the edge of the terrace, with a gorgeous view of the water below, Maiori... More

I dined at the Torre Normanna twice in June 2014. In both cases the meals were exceptional, and among the best restaurant meals I have had in several years. Highly recommended. The excellence of the food is matched by the outstanding atmosphere of the Torre...it juts out into the bay and the views are truly wonderful. Not to mention that... More

We stopped at Torre Normanna for lunch during a drive on the coast. It was nothing but wonderful! We had the best view while eating lunch we've ever experienced. Overall, a wonderful place and great food to match. Highly recommend.

We had diner on Saturday night. We had table outside with a nice view . Food was good. Deserts were very testy. My son had pasta and for our taste it was too much al a dente . Waiter offer to cook it more but our son had our food and was full. Same thing happened to a table next... More
