Excellent outdoor dining in Maiori

This is very cosy restaurant with an excellent outdoor dining in the main pedestrian street. Staff is very friendly and attentive. You may queue for a while but it deserves it. Food is excellent with reasonable prices. It is not recommended for large groups, but nice for romantic dinner. We had a... read more

This restaurant is hugely underrated. We came here as many of the restaurants along the sea front were busy as it was a Friday night. It was quite late but the staff could not be more helpful in finding us a table. They even provided us with a glass of prosecco whilst we waited. A delicious meal then proceeded with... More

Spotted the few tables under vines one lunchtime and went that evening, very happy we did. The few tables turn out to be outside the door and in a public alley! Not for everyone this informality but suited us, alternative is in the covered larger space set on the pedestrian island in the traffic controlled Main Street hence little or... More

This restaurant serves good food and has friendly service. I would recommend it for a good meal at a reasonable price. However, the one downside is the cover charge of 2.50 per person. I know this is an old fashion tradition in Italy, but I noticed in many of the larger cities (Venice, Florence, naples) they have gotten rid if... More

I heard many people talking about this restaurant - giving it plenty of praise so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant is quite nicely set out, fortunately we didn't have to wait for our table and the staff were welcoming and friendly. My mother ordered a 'pesto pasta and fried scampi' dish. It was a bitter disappointment.... More

After reading some of the recent bad reviews we were a little apprehensive at first to try this but after discovering two of the other restaurants on here had closed we were desperate....needless to say we had a lovely meal! The starter of bruschetta was super fresh and the main course of carbonara and sea food pizza was very nice,... More

It was nice and shady under the pagoda part of the restaurant with an air conditioning unit too!! The food was very good. We went for lunch today my husband and 3 children. We ate very well. I would definitely recommend it here.

Before I go in depth as to why I am giving this so highly praised restaurant one star I must talk about our first visit: Our first night in Maiori, and after a long day's travelling my family and I just wanted an easy night with a restaurant within close range from our hotel. And which restaurant is first on... More

Ordered a standard pasta dish and pizza and got the house white wine. Average at best but found in keeping with the other restaurants in Maoiri.

It's always tough to write a harsh review but this place deserves it. It has the good fortune to be the first restaurant you see when you are walking up the main pedestrian street in Maiori. It's well presented and there is a queue of people trying to get a table because of it. Some of the reviews on this... More
