Stopped en route to the Santa Caterina in Amalfi for lunch - fantastic food, service & location. Pasta to die for. Will definitely return! The only downside is it's a bit of an isolated location.

Exhausted, driving the tight twisting roads of the Almafi, unable to find refuge along the side of the road, we, luckily, stopped here. The afternoon before, we ate wonderfully, surviving only the anti pasti and primi, all for about $25 US. Capo d'orso was not our usual place for lunch. With a phenomenal view, after a knuckle wrenching drive evading... More

If you've read my review of Villa Poseidon in Salerno, this is the restaurant we came back to! We saw it on the way from Amalfi but it wasn't noshing time so we didn't stop. Luckily we found it again. Very good food, very friendly staff, normal prices and a beautiful view. If we come this way again this will... More

We stopped for lunch here by chance. The restaurant sits on cliffs above the Amalfi Coast and has amazing views. The food is exceptional, as is the service. Not cheap but well worth it for special occasions.

Capo D'Orso Restaurant is in an unique location (and I mean it, unique) and food is really exquisite. We had a really pleasant dinner, with incredible spaghetti with octopus and celery (the choice of the pasta, "di Gragnano" was crucial) and a wonderhul fish with potatoes. Also desserts were excellent. The wine list is full of not dramatically expensive very... More

My experience with this restaurant goes back almost thirty-years ago. My wife (Maryanne Flemma) and our family met a young man (Luigi Ferrara ) who along with his beautiful mother took my ill son into their care on one Sunday morning. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to this wonderful family who went out of their way, to feed... More

My husband and I returned here after nine years when we originally were on our honeymoon and were advised to go to this restaurant by a lovely taxi driver called Alfonso. It is very expensive but the service and style is impeccable. The attention to detail is second to none, there is even a small table for your handbag. It... More

My wife and I planned to dine here on our last of eight nights on the Amalfi Coast before heading south for Calabria. Unfortunately, she had developed a terrible cold and didn't have the energy to go out. She encouraged me to go on my own. I parked out front and was greeted at the door very warmly. When I... More

I'm not professional restaurant critique but I have been to 114 countries so far and I have eaten food from the street stalls in Cairo to the most expensive and acclaimed restaurants in Michelin's Guide in Paris. I try to evaluate each place for my own records and have created value points/stars and give 1-10 stars to each place I... More
