Unusual - looks like nothing special on the outside, but walk in and you are presented with a fine dining environment that is formal, but quite welcoming. Out group of 7 ordered variously off the menu. We were all satisfied - especially those who were searching for good Italian pizza. I especially liked the separate section on the menu which... More

The food, service and prices at the restaurant we ok. Very friendly. However, we visited Le Roi & the Piccadilly and found them much better. We had pizzas & pasta - nothing was really noteworthy. If you do visit, ask for a table in the better refurbished area of the restaurant (at the back).

Arrived for final evening of our stay at the magnificent Madonna - WHAT a ski resort!!... Shaky start: wrong table followed by removal of our wine list - to be handed to another table!!! Remarkably rushed drinks order, Menu had no translation and - not being a fluent italian speaker - it came complete with tuna, which I dislike with... More

Very friendly staff serving up good old mountain food, great pizze and a good wine selection. Späzli with cream, sausage and bacon was really good (and warming) as was (forgot the name) the melted cheese on rösti. Pizze and the steak were excellent and the Black Forest gateau was gigantic! 3 courses + wine came to €50

Pizzas really good, pasta very good. Make sure you make a reservation half the village eat there I think! Must be the best place in town. We ate there 3 times.

The restaurant was recommended by the person who has rented us the apartment for a few days, and the tip has proved appropriate. The dishes were tasty (though not very abundant): mushrooms with polenta, roe morsels, lamb chops. Moreover, all the desserts we tried were particularly noticeable: Sachertorte, apple pie, almond tart. Bill of € 115 for four people, including... More

Perhaps a bit on the expensive side but a very good meal so worth the extra. Big choice of pizzas but also varied non pizza menu which was good to see. Lovely local fish and yummy lemon sorbet. Fast and friendly service.
