I'll be short: the seafood risotto as well as the paccheri (pasta) with fish was too salty, what more or less ruined our plate. On top of that, the waiter was not friendly at all and his face was the perfect reflection of somebody who is doing his job without any commitment or client oriented mentality. Never seen such a... If you go to this restaurant you must try the fish soup, be advised you will only need the one course. Absolutely delicious!!!

We fancied a plate of pasta and a bottle of red, simple dinner but also wanted something tasty. The waiter was attentive, helpful and not phased that we just ordered one course each. We had pasta with squid and pasta norma, both were very large, fresh, delicious and very, very high quality. The wine, a local Catarratto, was perfect with... More

They have a great location on the marinacorta, but the food is a disaster, all 3 dishes we ordered were not fresh (fish).

This restaurant is situated in the small port area of downtown Lipari. It is surrounded by shops and the piazza is a hub of activity. Local children playing soccer, tourists from everywhere and locals going about their business ensure that you have something to look at whilst dining. We chose this restaurant as it had been recommended to us, we... More

Can be a little intimidating at first as there are a number of menus for different price points, the more expensive with English translation and less expensive without. But it is worth the effort. Most restaurants in this area know how to cook and present seafood very well but I am singling out this one for review as the seafood... More

Overall good experience here, we had a deal from the hotel we were staying so had a 25 euro menu for any two courses with a side dish and dessert otherwise could prove a bit expensive. The location is great, I think Marina Corta is the nicest piazza in Lipari. We actually ate here on two nights- the kids had... More

Loved our meal at Al Pescatore on our first night in Sicily. Great location near the sea, and delicious seafood. The waiter was very friendly and efficient. We had the set menu and got a primo, secondo and sorbetto for €20 each - great value!

The best food we ate all holiday. Simple dishes using the freshest ingredients cooked well. Particularly good Octopus starter then both our mains were great. I had pasta with squid and toasted breadcrumbs which seems bland but was amazing and the misses had spaghetti with prawns and lovely sweet cherry tomatoes. Loved it.
