Fresh fish by the ferry

Friendly service and a good selection presented of local freshly caught fish. Service was good and food nicely prepared and presented. Unfortunately around 9 pm they tie a large ferry boat up on quay next to Resturant blocking what is a ver nice view across the harbor. As we went back a second... read more

A place close to the harbour with excellent pasta (we had sea urchin and sea food pasta) and fresh fish (try luvaro). It's not cheap so get ready to pay around 100 Euros for a dinner and a bottle of wine for two but the quality was really high. It definitely is a place for a romantic evening accompanied by... More

We turned up and, even though we didn't have a booking, the restaurant was empty but we were seated inside and ignored for more than half an hour. We ended up leaving without one person asking us if we wanted a drink or to order. Incredibly rude, would never go back there. So many better places to eat just around... More

We came here as we got recommendation from locals. We were very satisfied, we started with sea food antipasto, then we had involtini di pesce spada and local fish, that was accompanied by great white wine. Staff was very nice and helpful. We did not mind the ferry, after all it provides some kind of atmosphere too :)

Fish dinner on Sunday. There was not full house at the restaurant. It is a little bit hidden by big ship at port. Polite staff, but not so skilled...on my opinion. They forgot wine taste... Anyway, food was good, but nothing special.

It was OK. The service was fast, the fish was fresh. The view was unobstructed in the birthing, but then, after an hour a boat appeared. The good thing was that one the boat docked, the wind stopped, being blocked. It didn't bother us, we went inside anyway. The other are a bit high and I didn't feel any special.... More

Stopped here for lunch after awful food at Mela Gusto. I was still hungry. What a world of difference. Real Lipari cooking. A charming restaurant with a lovely view on the south side of the harbor (go through the parking lot). Beautiful inside and lovely view of the harbor outside. After Filipino, the best food I've had on Lipari. Fresh,... More

Right down by the commercial harbour where the big ferries dock. It's not well placed but it came out to of the trip advisor listings so we went. The food was excellent. Veal carpaccio followed by spaghetti with capers in the aeolian style. Even the service was good which for southern Italy is astonishing. Well worth a visit.

Even though our view of the harbor was blocked with the arrival of a ferry that subsequently blocked our view, we enjoyed our dinner very much. While somewhat pricey, the food, from the antipasto to the main dish of dentice in cartocio, was excellent. Accompanied with a nice bottle of wine and finished with a Sicilian specialty dessert, it was... More
