We happened to stop into Boivin for lunch on a day when the server didn't show up and the chef-owner had to serve all the tables himself. He had 8 or 10 tables to deal with, including three with small children, and yet he showed the utmost grace and hospitality. But this review is not about the personal charms of... More

The waitresses were very slow and when they finally arrived we ordered fish and chips. They tried to sell us a small bottle of beer for 15 eur but we asked for a forst instead. We waited 30 min, and considering that there were only 10 people eating that was weird. Anyway the food was quite good but you can... More

The best things to do in Levico Terme is cycling, go swimming is the near lakes and then Enoteca Boivin. You can also skip the cycling and the swimming and go there directly. The staff speaks italian and the chef also english. As it was three of us we tried the degustation menu (seven courses for 30 Euros!), the trentino... More

Very nice atmosphere and friendly service. The best dishes we had in a long time. We took the 7 (presented as small) courses and took the wine suggestion. We were presently surprised; the food was well prepared, fresh local ingredients, and perfectly served in temperature and time. They take pride in their cooking and serving. The price was also surprisingly... More

Food-wise, this is a very nice trattoria/enoteca. The cuisine is mostly based on the Trentino tradition but with a striking eye for presentation and detail, and many touches of originality and creativity. I especially liked the excellent use of herbs, which really lifted many dishes. In my 'tasting menu' the only fault I could find was undercooked ravioli. All the... More

I live in Trento, 30 km from Boevin, but this is my favorite place to eat when I really want to take my time and eat something really delicious in the range of €30 to €45 ... I've been there a dozen time and I always eat as a king. The place used to be an old cellar, but the... More

So often when restaurants try to get creative, they lose sight of the most important thing: taste. Not true at Boivin, where everything we put in our mouths was delicious.

The Boivin represents one of the few restaurant close to Trento where you can enjoy a rivisitation of the traditional local food in an eclectic but not pretentious way. Riccardo the chef is a really nice guy, he is moderate but he is able to express real emotions in his culinary offerings. The combinations are sought, but balanced. The food... More

Everything about this restaurant was excellent. The staff, the chef, the ambiance.... oh and the food was incredible. The chef even gave us a private cooking lesson and we ate what we cooked for lunch. There were four of us and now we are so spoiled....we have to go back.
