Reasonable lunch time venue

This was our second visit, first one in the summer and the second in December, both times for a lunchtime Pizza. Our preferred time to visit is in the summer when you can sit outside and enjoy the fabulous view across the Marina towards the castle and to Portovenere. The restaurant is modern and... read more

After an eternity of finding a parking spot, we discovered the place we wanted to go for lunch was closed, so we wandered the streets of Lerici and randomly decided on Al Cantiere (well, kind of randomly: we saw a lot of local people inside, which is always a good sign). The food ended up being the best we had... More

The further east from Camogli one goes, the less fish-with-fins one gets on a plate of fried fish. I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles/what is caught locally. Here it was shrimps, baby squid or was it tiny octopus [see photo - sorry, little things!] and calamari but no actual finned fish. But that, with the bread and chips... More

Food / Service was okay (had better). However got to end of a plate of chips to find a deep fried crispy wasp at the bottom. Showed this to the waiter .. who took it away saying he would bring to the attention of chef/owner... never saw the waiter or the wasp again.... know things happen (wasp flies in).. would... More

Excellent food, excellent service and good value. In October it is great to be eating outside - there are plenty of tables but best to arrive early as it is very popular.

The setting is perfect; right on the water. The pizza is good, but nothing special. But The service, and this may just apply to one waitress, was terrible. She made no effort at all; in fact she pretty much just tossed things on the table, without even a smile. She dropped the check on the table while passing by. Its... More

I am a local to the town, but I was with relatives from abroad. We chose this restaurant simply because it had a few non-fish dishes, as one of our party had allergy problems with seafood. Service was on and off: one of the waiters kind and almost-efficient, the other uncaring and slow. We didn't order a full meal because... More

We went to Lerici for the evening and after wandering around looked at the menu for this restaurant and asked if we could make a reservation. We then went for a drink and back to the restaurant at about 7.30pm. It was fortunate we had made the reservation as people were being turned away and we thought this was a... More

The restaurant with its terrace is located at the main plaza at the harbour. The food is average to good (a place for seafood), the service was average and the ambiente beeing at the main place very touristic and not really romantic but if you like sitting on the central plaza than this could be your place. So If you... More

Been here a couple of times. Great wiew, good food. Recommend the swordfish with tomato, capers ++. Fresh and tasty. The minestrone was boring and tasteless. Pizza was average.
