Delicious food very typical of the area. The traditional menu is fantastic, it's too easy to over eat as everything is delicious.

The flavours of the food we had were out of this world. The food served was traditionally cooked and the dishes, albeit non pretentious, were nevertheless superb. The simplicity of the locally sourced ingredients expertly combined brought out their true flavour. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and ready to explain the dishes. If you want a wonderful meal... More

This restaurant specialises in the traditional local cuisine. I dined here twice and the quality of the food was very consistent. The service was friendly, and some of the staff spoke good English too. The wine list is local and reasonably priced; the bread was a rustic white loaf with a thick crust and very good flavour and texture. A... More

Of two options in the guide book, we chose this one because it seemed off the beaten path. Seems like every body else with the same blue guidebook had the same idea. However, DO NOT let that stop you. This was one of our favorite lunches during the entire two week trip. Fine, simple, tasty food. Mom sitting in the... More

Lecce in August is busy and hot. As a result, it can be stressful finding a nice place for dinner. A lot of the better places are completely booked out or if not, the food and service is rushed. Therefore, it was so nice to find Alle due Corti which is completely different. The restaurant is Located in a quiet... More

We had a really lovely meal here. Completely authentic and unpretentious. The staff were great and the service faultless, not too quick, not too slow. Typical Pugliese dishes, cooked beautifully with absolutely fresh ingredients. We found the portions generous and noticed that Italians at other tables were sharing dishes so would recommend trying this. The lovely lady who showed us... More

We (2 adults and 2 children) had lunch here on 29 July 2014. We enjoyed a warm and friendly welcome from the owner and her family. The menu is short and simple, we found it quite refreshing not to be offered exclusively pasta or pizza and were able to try some more traditional lesser known dishes. The food was wonderful... More

I have no idea how this restaurant isn't rated #1 in Lecce. The food was exquisite; they clearly are staying true to local ingredients and traditions. And the decor is just delightful- simple and beautiful. We ate many delicious meals during our three weeks in Southern Italy, but this was by far our favorite. Go!

Surpassed all expectations, authentic local food at its best. We have already booked for tomorrow & can't wait to try other dishes. It will be a hard call not to repeat our experience tonight. Whole meal topped off by superb local wine at €6 a litre carafe. Be sure not to miss this gem in Lecce.

Such a lovely find, via the web, I typed in 'best pasta in lecce' and this came up! It deserves a better rating on lecce trip advisor. It was fantastic pasta. As the other reviewer said the half fried, half boiled with chickpeas was garlicky and yummy. So was the cannelloni (lovely pork mince with pearly barley) - I'd like... More
