Interesting menu, good quality and service

You are spoilt for choice in Lecce but this restaurant is a little different and benefits from being family run.The menu boasts 'antica gastronomica Salentina', i.e. local dishes and it certainly has a few as well as more common dishes. I advise booking as it seems very popular, usually a good... read more

Tasty - very classical cuisine... Staff a bit cool, but professional. Would come back definitely. In April was a bit cold in the dining area..

Yes, the lady told us that they had a lot of reservation but still put us in a smaller room adjant the main restaurant. When we entered three tables were taken, the rest empty. We waited 15 minutes without any-one asking whether we wish to have something to drink, even though one of the waiter checked on us twice. -... More

Visited for lunch on recommendation of Lonely Planet Guide. A traditional family run restaurant, nothing fancy but business like & food is classic Sanento. My wife has a delicious Ciceri e Trina ( crispy fried pasta & chickpeas ) as a starter, my own choice of spicy salami with cheese & olives less interesting. A main of chicken with fried... More

We are in Lecce for 4 days and just ate here for the second time. They make the most delicious pasta dish with fresh and fried pasta and chick peas. The family was having their lunch at the table next to ours and brought over a piece of their signature focaccia pie to share with us. I would go back... More

Food was above average and location somewhat challenging. None of the restaurants in Lecce were excellent. This is one of the best. Grilled mixed meats was good except the veal.

We always look for family owned restaurants. This was no exception. We were told to go by a woman local who worked at our hotel. It was exceptional. Service was great. The meal was wonderful. Especially to recommend is the chick peas and pasta. The fava beans was also excellent. My husband got grilled meat which was excellent. My eggplant... More

Alle due corti was recommended to us by several people for its authentic Salento cuisine. We were not disappointed! We started with fava beans and chicory and then moved on to fried ricotta balls and fried eggplant balls. Everything was outstanding! The service was excellent and we were grateful for the warm welcome of the manager who also spoke English... More
