We saw this restaurant one morning and decided to eat there on the Monday night. It was really busy and we were put to sit by the entrance. The roof was open. The amount of people smoking was awful. There was one guy smoking in the entrance right by me, the smoke just kept wafting towards me whilst I was... More

We have been dining several times at the Classique Grill in Lazise, and we wanted to go again this summer - our favorite dish is the beef on lava stone! We had not made a reservations, and the waitress was a bit displeased. However, we got a table. We ordered drinks and our favorite mixed meat on lava stones, and... More

Over busy, food bland, one waiter in particular almost frisbeed the pizzas to the customers sitting next to us, failed to get the drinks we ordered or the bill we asked for. Ended up paying at the bar and they had the cheek to add a cover charge! Awful, avoid at all cost.

Visited this restaurant by chance in early April, following a business meeting in nearby Verona. My Italian colleague was keen to show me Lake Garda during my visit and the opportunity for a quick lunch soon presented itself later the same morning. The restaurant is located in the beautiful town of Lazise and has a fantastic, panoramic view of Lake... More

We like to eat at good restaurants where the view is great too. This one offered a very poor version of spaghetti di mare/spaghetti with seafood. Not fresh made seafood. A sad version of it compared to the other 200 kinds of that dish I have tasted other places. We also got a steak. Nice but my husband was still... More

As part of my Italian adventures celebrating my art school 10 year graduation we decided to visit one of Italy's many picturesque places Lago di Garda, also one of Italy's largest lakes. We arrived at night. The night view of the lake was very peaceful. Not a single stream of wind passed through the lake's surface, it was magical. We... More

Live in Lazise, occasionally choose the restaurants to show the amazing view to friends and family. Unfortunately the food is very average, staff unfriendly and they don't accept reservations. Reccomend Le Ancore del Bastie insead which is a 3 min walk.

The view is amazing ad the seafood is to die for...make sure you sit on the outdoor terrace. The wine list was impressive and the dessert with out of this world. In the summer they are really busy, so make sure to get there early for dinner.

Terrific view, terrific location and incredibly hard working staff. The place was packed to the rafters and many guests were waiting yet the service quality remained very high. I suspect there is a balance to be struck between trying to serve/ please everybody and turning some guests away. However as a location, with top quality food it is worth persevering... More

The food and service isn't much to write home about - my Pizza Classique was tasty enough, other pizzas were short on toppings - but La Classique's real attraction is it's elevated position which gives you a superb view of the sunset. Book a front table on the terrace and enjoy the spectacle.
