2015 and still a really great restaurant

As part of a tour we visited this restaurant for 3 days running and the food and ambiance was first class. We had an ex-director of the Wine Society on our trip and she said that the wine was really good value for money. Moreno is the owner and chef and quite a character, His wife is Samantha and... read more

It is a well hidden spot in a tiny street in Grosetto. It is run by a wonderful couple Moreno and Samantha. We always find it such a treat to go there. Food is always exquisite, fresh products, gourmet cooking, menus in most languages and very-very friendly stuff. A separate note about wine. If you want to learn about Italian... More

Lovely little spot in the old part of Grosseto. Service was impeccable and the wine recommendation outstanding. We had a wonderful antipasti with fresh mushrooms, a pasta with more fresh mushrooms followed by a perfectly cooked steak. Good value and good food

The Chef and his family are very friendly and offer an extraordinary culinary experience using fresh local ingredients. The fresh lobster and pasta starter is wonderful. Absolutely worth the price if you want high quality food.

The menu is excellent, but don't spend too much time with it. Just wait until Chef Moreno comes to your table and tells you what the special of the day from the kithen wiill be. Believe him when he tells you he has only the freshest ingredients and the highest quality local meats and fish. The kitchen is "to order... More

Lets face it, central Grosseto is a bit of a dump full of unattractive dining options, mostly of the fast food variety. This little place is great though. Only about a dozen tables, family run and specialises in fish (although plenty of other delicious sounding options on the menu). Very accommodating, the chef even came up with a custom menu... More

My husband and I found this restaurant by chance after arriving in the town somewhat late in the evening. Our meal was incredible especially the steak and the picci. The owner, his wife and the staff were delightful to talk with and gave us many tips on places to see in the area. The time they spent with us really added... More

Kind staff, excellent food (try the selection of raw fish which I found exquisite) and a nice location make this restaurant a must go when in Grosseto. Great value for the money too.
