Nice first visit...

We like to return to good restaurants, instead of trying new places all the time. If we had more days in Grado, we would have returned to Toni. Good proper Italian food, mostly fish, and good personal service from the staff. We will revisit next time. Thank you for a good experience.

nothing special... except for the price! it's hefty if you compare it to what you actually get. the quality is ok... nothing worth going back for... not even filling as the portions are rather small. the staff is helpful and that is about the best that can be said about this place..

Our dinner at De Toni was fascinating. The ambiance is historic and handsome, the service warm and alert. Our excellent waiter guided us through the menu and steered us to wonderful wine choices for the dishes we ordered. Our main courses were local fish specialties previously unknown to us: orata w/ "asparagini del mare" [seasonal seaweed] and the classic Grado... More

The ambience and the service was excellent and the food was interesting and tasty. The speciality of the day is fish and the salt encrusted catch of the day was fabulous - to watch our waitress debone and serve it was a treat in itself. The starters are a meal alone so you could get away with having only that.

For a mediocre restaurant, an awful level of service, where rudeness is king. Considering how many good alternatives are around there, there is no reason whatsoever to choose this place for a dinner.

We had high expectations on our evening at de Toni. We had two days before made an reservation for a table at 19.30. When we arrived, the table was not ready so they had to carry out a table next to the street. Then the service was bad, wrong wine, no attention from the staff, and the food was just... More

Nicely located, always busy (better to make a reservation at this time of the year), great service and charming atmosphere. Dishes are tasty and nicely connected with the local traditional cousine. High standard execution meets relatively simple local food heritage. I loved it. Of course quality comes at a price and you should be prepared for a medium-high bill for... More
