Don't leave Gardone Riviera without dining here!

I'm wracked with guilt at having left my review so long. My partner and I dined here in September after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. It was one of those times when you think to yourself 'thank God for TA'. This restaurant and our evening there was one of the loveliest nights we've had in a... read more

... we must come back, it is the perfect place: a lovely restaurant in a stone walled back garden, a chef with talent, eye for detail and desire for perfection, beautiful wines and a reasonable price. We had the degustation menu and I'd never eat anything else : ) This is one of my favourite food memories in a while.

Wonderful setting, great staff, fine selection of wines and amazing food. Recommended by our hotel Bar manager we tried Brolo and ended up returning as soon as we could. We had the degestation menu which enabled you to try several dishes all different all with their own unique flavours. Not cheap but worth the experience. You will need to book... More

I love Antico Brolo - it is always consitant in quality and service and the courtyard setting is really nice. We have been going here for many years and know the menu off by heart - everyones favourite is the tagliata - the sliced steak with olives, pomodorini and olive oil served with gratin potatoes. Keep it up - perhaps... More

If it's a warm evening, you must reserve a table in the back terrace. Make sure you ask for a table in the far back and away from the entrance (the ground is a bit too slanted there for comfortable seating). There is also a smaller covered section of the terrace if there is a fear of rain, but we... More

I had lunch here on a couple of occasions during my stay in the Gardone Riviera. I thoroughly enjoyed both dining experiences in the delightful courtyard setting. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient. Great selection of choices on the menu and reasonably priced too for such high quality standard food.

This restaurant is up the hill at the back of Gardone Riviera - but only a (steep) ten minute walk if you take the correct route! Wide range of seafood and pasta and meat dishes and very inexpensive. Excellent local wines. Frequented by locals and tourists alike. Service warm and welcoming. Tip: take the little tourist train up the hill... More

Slightly more formal service than other restaurants in Gardone, but a lovely treat. Complimentary Prosecco on arrival, Parmesan lollipops and an amazing arrangement of bread and grissini in a wooden boat. The presentation of the food is quite spectacular. Very rich cheese, egg and truffle parcel to start which was amazing, I wish I had not had a pizza for... More

We chose to eat here two of the three nights we were here since the first meal was so lovely. The location in the pleasant village is great and the food exquisite. I love pasta and ate the best pasta dish ever here. All food was delicious and exclusive. This place gave us the best meal on our 5 day... More

Yet another authentic Italian supper. Lovely courtyard setting, excellent service and such a variation from the norm. Antipasta starter so different and varied, followed by a delicate lamb dish, and excellent wine list. Make sure you take a taxi, unless your a hill climber!
