We ate lunch here the first day we were in Gardone. The food was fantastic and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Most of us had either pasta or pizza dishes and they did not disapoint! We had two small children traveling with us and they did their best to accomodate their needs. My daughter (who's 2) finished her entire... More

The owner and his family are fantastic hosts and you are made to feel very welcome. The pasta is really nice and both my husband and son really enjoyed the soup ( especially as the owner put paper bibs on them as a bit of fun). The location in the lively piazza is excellent.

Overall just ok! Tried the house antipasto as starter, not good! Then trufflepasta and shrimp as main, nothing special!

We were recommended this place by the lady that owns the apartment we were staying in. She told us that it was the best place to go locally for pasta, and she wasn't worry. The pasta was amazing... Would definitely go again. I would say that although the pasta was excellent the desserts were not, do maybe just had a... More

The Taverna is quite small and lovely furnished. Dogs are welcome. The wine menu is average, quite nice. The food - we had Pasta with Ragu, Carpaccio, grilled Fish and Lasagna al Forno - was nice but not amazing. Unfortunately I didn't like the Lasgne... But we had a nice evening and the service is really friendly so I would... More

Piazza dei caduti is located in Gardone Sopra (upper Gardone). If you don't visit il vittoriale (which you should) you would probably not know it's there. It really is a delightful little square full of the ambience that makes eating out in Italy so special. 4 or 5 of the restaurants reviewed here are in this area no more than... More

We ate here on the recommendation of our hotel on a vey busy night in the town so our reservation was better than the wait others had for a table. Right in the main square you can sit and people watch a plenty and the restaurant isn't overpriced for such a location. The only parking available however is some way... More
