Great place, superb food, a great wine list and some of the best fish in Forte. Service is impeccable, the only glitch being that sometimes Lorenzo is not in the right mood and can be a a bit sombre or downright brusque. A little defect in an otherwise splendid place: expensive, but well worth the money and effort.

In general - there's nothing negative about the restaurant: service, food, management, wine list - is superb! To my point of view - there are 2 great restaurants in Forte dei Marmi: Lorenzo and Bistrot

Recommended by friends, we made our reservation through the hotel and it's a good thing, because the place was packed and rightly so. It had some of the best food ever. The service was impeccable, the food delightful and the ambiance was perfect. We had a full 4 course meal and everything that was served was just great. It is... More

Ristorante Lorenzo was recommended to us by locals and we were convinced to try it also based on tripadvisor reviews. So we went with our friends and family. We were first served with an amuse bouche, consisting of a fried ball stuffed with seafood paste. Delicious and a great start of the night! Then we asked for some raw scampi,... More

Lorenzo is a solid choice when you want a formal night out in Forte dei Marmi. The service was very attentive. The food was quite good. I was disappointed only by the side of vegetables we ordered. We received a tiny plate containing 1 tiny steamed zucchini and a steamed potato, which seemed like an odd choice. The restaurant was... More

I found everyone welcoming and warm. The seafood is serious and of the highest quality. Very enjoyable and certainly one of the best in Forte dei Marmi. I am still thinking of those baby calamari! Worthy of the trip there.

Warning! Be careful when you dine here! Saturday June 14 I had a serious allergic (anaphylactic) shock while having dinner at this restaurant. When I ordered the food I was very careful explaining to them the seriousness of my allergy. After the second course I had a severe allergic reaction and they needed to call for an ambulance and I... I visited forte dei marmi for an event and the night before i decided to come to this restaurant. Well probably i will remember the restaurant more than the event. oh, and Lorenzo himself... what a guy. summarizes the few remaining italian classy hosts.
