I had dinner her on 17 April with a friend who lives in Ferrara. We had wonderful wine and fresh and delicious seafood. The meal was plentiful and I enjoyed everything. They will prepare things off the menu if you ask. I will definitely return. The plates were not only delicious, but the presentations and appearances were beautiful. We had... More

Ate here recently and found the food to be okay, nothing special, and quite expensive. I would go to Ca d'Frara or Mezzaluna instead in Ferrara-they are much better and cheaper

We stopped just for a day trip in Ferrara and wanted to eat traditional food from the region close to the historical center of Ferrara. Big Night has been a perfect choice, just in front of the Castello. To make sure of tasting original dishes with local ingredients we ordered the tasting menu of the "tradizione", deeply rooted in the... More

I always stay at Hotel Ferrara, so I am regular at this restaurant. Food is great and service is the best. If you do not see something in the menu that you like or need a recommendation, ask Diego, he is the friendliest and most accomodating host/chef. He always makes my fav dish: Tuffle risotto and it is delish !!!!

I had a dinner at Big Night, Ristorante da Giovanni in August of 2012. Overall, I had a very nice dinner. Pros: The food was delicious. I made the mistake of ordering two very rich dishes (eggplant budino and the Ferrarese pasticcio) and could not finish them, but what I had was delicious. I also had a very tasty and... More

The restaurant was empty when we arrived and not much better when we left so the atmosphere was poor and the staff overwhelming, the food was really average, although you did feel like they where trying really hard, it just wasn't working for us

Me and my wife went there for a quite night out together. We wanted a quite, relaxed and classy dinner to end the day with a good meal - and that's exactly what we got. We decided to stay outside since it was a beautiful spring day We were served by two very professional and kind men. one of them... More

Our appetites were not up to a truly big night, so we shared an antipasto and then had two first courses of pasta. The restaurant is attractive and the staff make you feel welcome immediately. The menu is divided into a fish section and a meat section, with tasting menus offered in both sections. The wine list is immense and... More
