The first thing you notice are the friendly faces of the staff and the lively atmosphere of the restaurant. Upon being seated, our eyes found their way to the amazing meats and cheeses in their glass case. We ordered charcuterie boards to start and sampled the most delicious of this region's offerings. We all ordered different entrees from pasta dishes... More

We've been 4 times during our stay and every single time the food was fantastic ! The salumi, the pastas, the fish and the meat, all of it and the cheesecake made with mascarpone as well. Everything made fresh, which you can taste and super friendly service. Prices are not expensive but correct. An address to remember when visiting Ferrara.

In the center of Ferrara, this typical restaurant has a great selection of local food and wine. The portions are huge and the desert very testy. I suggest you "gnocchi di melanzane" delicious!!! Excellent quality/ price.

This place is gorgeous, and it runs like a finely-oiled machine. But most of the food we had was just average. Exceptions were the cold cuts and a simple spaghetti dish with anchovies. If I had to do it all over again, I'd just go here for drinks and go to the nearby pizzeria for dinner ("Sofisti") as their pizza... More

Dear Ivan CDG, We note with pleasure that despite everything you've wanted to dedicate us a good judgment, and by an expert reviewer like you is really a satisfaction for us. Sorry instead you want to save of our menù just cold cuts and a "simple" first plate, but we can guarantee that nothing of what you have listed is... More

You can enjoy a typical regional meal in the center of Ferrara with an exceptional ratio quality/ price. I can suggest you "cappellacci di zucca" and vegetables.

Good restaurant but quite busy so service can be a little bit slow. I had dinner the first night as it was next to my hotel. Great selection of local food and wine. I had some cold cuts , bread and wine and they were very tasty. Food came in huge portions.

This restaurant has became a staple place on our trips to Italy, when staying overnight in Ferrara. Good food, reasonably priced with good selection of wines. If you are not too hungry, you can just enjoy some nice cold cuts with wine.
