Recommended by Euro at B&B Alchemia (see separate report), we went here for a traditional Ferrera lunch cooked in the copper pans. What seemed like ordinary food on the menu such as roast chicken and potatoes was far from ordinary. The chicken was slow cooked, stuffed and sliced before being served. Others in group had the porcini risotto, and then... More

This restaurant really has a new proposal, it has a wide variety of prosiuttos, you can ask for a table and they will bring in wood tray with at least 2 or 3 kinds of different prosciutto, with some cheese, and bread. or a tray of different cheeses . Is a very relax and local ambience. They have also for... More

Have been to this place many times during our stay in Ferrara. It didn't take long before we were being greeted by name as regulars - even friends! Of course this makes every visit there a very happy and enjoyable experience. The place has a much more modern feel than many others in Ferrara but it still features the typical... More

We moved to Ferrara 6 months ago and this is our favourite restaurant. The Maitr'd is excellent, the service superb and the food is wonderful traditional Italian cuisine. I have eaten 7 or 8 different dishes; all are very very good and the capellaci de zucca con ragu probably the best in Ferrara.

Located in the center of Ferrara, this restaurant offers very good local dishes. Excellent stuffed pasta with pumpkin or cheese. Try the filled zucchini flowers. Good local meat dishes. Nice atmosphere of young locals. In addition there is a large choice of cold meat cuts and cheese to take home. Reasonable prices.

It was oK but not nearly as good as Trattoria Da Noemi or Osteria della Campana which both had better food, better dervice and a nicer atmosphere. The restaurant is a bit too modern and open plan and as a result somewhat loud. There is also a big deli counter. In its defence the pumpkin soup was excellent and there... More

We dined here with some friends and work colleagues. The restaurant was very busy (we had booked) and the staff very pleasant. We had sharing platters to start with and our main meals were served to us in individual pans which I found lovely. There is also a fresh deli counter within the restaurant.

Had dinner here on our first day but wasn't very impressed. The place is only good if you are here for the meat and cheese. We tried some seafood pasta, pumpkin soup, ravioli with cheese and spinach, small cheese platter and the bill come out to 60 euros :/ not worth the money.

we had dinner here 2 nights in September. This restaurant is very popular, and for good reason: they cook great food and use very good ingredients. Wines are also good, service is excellent. The 1st time we went, everything was perfect. The 2nd time, I had ordered a tuna steak. Unfortunately, the tuna was overcooked. As fas as I know,... More
