Excellent food, smart crisp clean comfortable restaurant. Service good, but was very detached.

ON enteringing we were very pleased visually by a very smart clean crisp comfortable well designed restaurant. The food was excellent. This Italian (Emilian) restaurant is in a perferct position for visitors, not easy to find but once inside you feel in a safe place, new structure, clean, nice wine selection. To me mixed grill was good, quantity is same as quality. One plus for cakes.

We have visited a number of restaurants in Ferrara and this was the best by a margin. Service was extraordinarily attentive, food was local and novel, wines were very reasonably priced. Not too expensive. You will not be disappointed!

We had the tipical Ferrara menu for just 24 Euro per person including ham selection, two very traditional pasta dishes, secondo and nice cookies. Very good value for this price. Small selection of wines at the glass, could be improved.

First of all, this place is tucked away in an empty, dark alley with an unassuming entrance. However, the interior is very refined and welcoming. My group of four were seated immediately and the staff were very kind in their explanation of the menu and wines. They spoke English well and smiled throughout the evening. The best bit of the... We selected this resteraunt based on Trip Advisors reviews. Either we had terribly bad luck or the resteraunt is over rated! We arrived at 8:15pm for dinner. The greeting was very off hand and we were taken to our table with very little ceremony. It took a long time for anyone to take our wine order and even longer for... More

we went to Ferrara for a half day excursion. We did some research in the Michelin Guide and apparently Ca' d'Frara is the right choice. If we visit Ferrara next time, we will definitely come back again. We ordered Culatello to start with. It's the first time we tried Culatello and learn it is one of the best graded parma... More

I decided to go back here since my first visit two years ago was very satisfactory. Luckily for us this hasn't changed and we enjoyed our dinner here. service was good and quick - if not slightly rushed (though we were informed that we needed to be out in an hour and a half, since we showed up without a... We dined here during our last night in Ferrara and I am so glad we did! The restaurant is very chic inside, with excellent staff. We arrived very early, and I am glad we did because it filled up quickly. The food was the best we'd had in Ferrara. We ordered the capellacci, a seafood pasta which was divine, the... More
