Good traditional restaurant in city center

Very good quality for the right price. Perfect and quick service. If you want to try traditional and local dishes this is a very good choice. We got the Cappellacci di zucca, the Pasticcio ferrarese, the Salama and a roasted pork. Desserts also good and extensive list of wines.

Recommended by our hotel owners as a good place for classic Ferrarese dishes, this restaurant was a very pleasant experience. Helpful, thoroughly competent service. And very good food : cappelacci di zucca and cappelletti in brodo, and the local deep-fried bread appetizer. With the fizzy local red wine. A very good choice in all respects (and the staff were very... More

We ate here twice during our stay in Ferrara in the middle of June 2015,The restaurant is less than 10 mintues from the center of town. Do not let the so&so surroundings fool you,the place is modern and tastefully arranged. One night we ate more on the sea food side and the other night more on the meat side. The... More

This Italian (Emilian) restaurant is in a perferct position for visitors, not easy to find but once inside you feel in a safe place, new structure, clean, nice wine selection. To me mixed grill was good, quantity is same as quality. One plus for cakes.

We have visited a number of restaurants in Ferrara and this was the best by a margin. Service was extraordinarily attentive, food was local and novel, wines were very reasonably priced. Not too expensive. You will not be disappointed!

We had the tipical Ferrara menu for just 24 Euro per person including ham selection, two very traditional pasta dishes, secondo and nice cookies. Very good value for this price. Small selection of wines at the glass, could be improved.

First of all, this place is tucked away in an empty, dark alley with an unassuming entrance. However, the interior is very refined and welcoming. My group of four were seated immediately and the staff were very kind in their explanation of the menu and wines. They spoke English well and smiled throughout the evening. The best bit of the... ON enteringing we were very pleased visually by a very smart clean crisp comfortable well designed restaurant. The food was excellent. We were in four but only Three of us had starters of cruda of tuna, very good , scallops in shells with a delicious purée sause, and shellfish mussels and clams in a broth. All of which were very... We selected this resteraunt based on Trip Advisors reviews. Either we had terribly bad luck or the resteraunt is over rated! We arrived at 8:15pm for dinner. The greeting was very off hand and we were taken to our table with very little ceremony. It took a long time for anyone to take our wine order and even longer for... More
